    constitutional republic just means you are not a constitutional monarchy. In other words that you have president and not a king. A republican (from a dictionary and not constructed from a party name) is person who wants to abolish privileges of the royal family.

    The mob-rule your founding fathers was afraid of was the that people-strong states would take control of the country and exploit less populated states, possible making these states not want to join the US in the first place.

    Europeans cars are just 25% too expensive right now because the Euro is 25% overvaluated (because of careless US economics).

    Everything imported from Europe is overvaluated right now.

    That would be a laugh. The odd thing is that only Denmark has ships that are strong enough to sail in the area around Hans Island. The canadians can only get to the area by helicopters.

    Be carefull. Though ale is derived from the danish word Øl, the distinction between ale and lager was introduced after both words was already found in the English language. There no such distinction in Danish, which is probably why they don't specify it.

    However most danes consider pilsner a normal beer. So you should use Carlsbergensis yeast.

    Actually those are the words ending in "atsiv". Even it Sanskrit is a RTL language, it should still be written LTR when using latin letters.

    Hi! That sounds just like Russia. You pay the officer a small "fee" to forget about the ticket. The fee might be of the same size as the ticket, but wont be recorded anywhere.

    I had no idea Texas had that kind of corruption!

    They still add the clauses but they are just invalid in Denmark.

    To be valid in Denmark you need compensation, which has been established by Højesteret to be half salary during the period of non-competition.

    It is the distillation. Ethanol energy is still a research area that is expected to yield results in 10 years time or so (40 some before fusion does).

    The biggest breakthroughs currently is using crops that is designed for the purpose rather than using excess food production and developing processes of extracting the energy similar to those used in our stomach.
    With these two changes, there would be almost no energy used on the production of Ethanol, but the technology is not yet ready.

    This was during the period when the U.S. was seeking support for invading Iraq. The inspectors had not found _any_ evidence of weapons of mass destruction, but any sign of reluctance from Saddam to let them examine facilities was blown out.

    In order to create a conflict the US had the weapons inspectors search Saddams palaces and harem for weapons of mass destruction, knowing that Saddam would refuse at first.

    Really there's no reason to run an LCD at non-native resolution unless you're a developer testing what something looks like on other screen sizes. If so, turn off scaling and deal with the black bars - it's temporary.

    I guess you have never tried to play any games? ;)

    No it so not. Take a look at a 256 gray palette. RGB do not have any more shades of gray than that. Also take a look at DOOM 3 for instance. RGB is lousy at representing dark shades, and you loose the ability to see details in dark things because of it.

    Because you like everyone else, buy cheap CRTs and expensive LCDs.
