    Yes the Danish representetive Bendt Bendsen is pro-swpat. He followed his mandate as little as possible. The presidency would have know that, he was willing to stop with any possible excuse and gave him one.

    Unfortunetely GMail have decided to not give Konqueror a chance anymore, so we are now treated with the basic HTML-page, even though we support the full featured better than Safari does currently.

    Personal data belongs the individual that they describe. The bank is allowed to keep a copy of it as long as they keep it safe (and non-cross referenced).

    So no, nothing is stolen, and the bank not the "thief" should be punished for breaching privacy.

    Because with the lack of a restart we not only retain status quo which has software patents in obscure terms, but also means the commision can keep trying to press the legislation through as a secret A-item.

    Because they don't think the parliament will fire them over just this, and that is the only option of sanction the European Parliament has.

    You have no real use for floatint point in this type of applications anyway. The only place FP is used here is where programmers are too lazy or stupid to used fixed point.

    You need special consideration when using UTF-16 as well. Unless you are ignoring the auxiliary planes... UTF-8 is much safer in this regard, since any non-ASCII value will break if you treat it incorrectly, where as even large projects are completely misusing UTF-16 somehow thinking every point is an individual character.

    3.2 and 3.3 were both optimized heavily from the 3.1 release.

    By amazing coincidence valgrind/cachegrind had just been released, and KDE made to run in it :)

    No they are not. KHTML beats Gecko on CSS standards in many areas, at least as many as Gecko beats KHTML in.

    The only KHTML weakness here is the lack of full XML support, such as XSL. Being in both IE6 and Mozilla it is an important feature to support now.

    It seems to use XSL, which neither Safari nor Konqueror supports.

    Hmm... I wonder how much non-qt code there is in KDE.

    A lot! KDE is a Unix desktop and makes heavy use of Unix and POSIX libraries. Some of them are already available in Windows, but most only in the POSIX layer, and you want to run in the Win32 layer.

    No virus _is_ the plural form it has no correct plural-plural forms. Both virii and viruses are silly language inventions because people have started using virus as a singular form.

    But what if the own the device. If you do not allow the prisoners to earn and spend money the only way they will have to acquire more than others is in the form of stealing. And assuming they will not want to have more than their neighbor inmates is as naive as believing communism will work.
