yawning coordinates people's scedules. if someone is tired, it's good for the rest of the group to get tired, too, so everybody goes to bed at about the same time.
Great to see, that slashdot anti-capitalism beats slashdot information-wants-to-be-free-sentiments anytime.
The point is not wether we like Nike or not. It should not even be wether Nike wants to sell stuff or not. The problem is: once "commercial" speech looses its freedom, you get a really big problem deciding what "commercial" means.
If I say that Bush is gay, is that a commercial statement? Maybe I'm selling pink suits in Bush's size. Does that make it commercial? The point is: you don't want a court to decide what is commercial and what is not.
It's fundamentally a clash between two fundamental rights: the freedom (of art, commerce, speech or whatever) and protection against harm. To decide which is more important is difficult.
use amazons people who bought this cd also bought...

Actually, the writer, Hergé pretty much invented comics. The early Tintins had the spoken text in squares at the bottom of each picture.
Then, there is that thick book, where Tintin first was the character he then became in the series later. It was a lot less funny but more political than the later comics. He was captured by the russians during the time of the october revolution if i remember correctly.
Oh, and it was black&white only, no colors. See if you can find that somewhere, i think it is a classic work of art.
complaining about a low download speed on slashdot is certainly the best way to improve it...

a boeing 747 crashed at cemetery in central Paris. Until now, 5680 could only be recovered dead.
I actually live in a town in Germany to which the "Neanderthal" (it's a valley) belongs. So, technically, I'm a Neanderthal.
