Don't bother getting the O'Reilly book MacOS X for Unix geeks. It cost me $20 and took less than 30 minutes to read. There was nothing in there that I hadn't already figured out by just using my Mac. (It explains quite obvious stuff)
If you are indeed a Unix geek, go to macosxhints.com and you'll find a lot more useful information there for free.

This reminds me of those companies that made the first real Macintosh laptops by using Mac Plus guts.
Until LCDs get cheaper than CRT, most corporate customers will still avoid them.(especially in the current economy where the bean counters are in charge)
Because in the US, people pay a flat rate for local phone service, so each (non-long-distance) call from a landline is "free". Therefore, the phone companies cannot charge landlines for calling cell phones, and somebody has to pay.
