  1. There always something that dont fit on Oldest Modern Humans Found · · Score: 1

Like why the hell would God put the genetic code for teeth in birds? Was God lazy? Was it an accident?

The "evolution vs. creation" section on that side explains the many creatures as things he did during the initial seven "days" (by the way, it says God is in his seventh day now, and is therefore resting, so quit bothering him, omnipotent beings get tired too, dont they?). So if a creature is found that didnt exist 160,000 years ago what other way can the vague first chapter of Genesis be stretched?

The big problem is that the broadcast strength of an 802.11 transmitter cannot exceed 1 watt. Youre allowed more in other countries but in the US its 1 watt.

There are various ways to overcome this such as directional transmitters, but I think this guys idea is not feasible. Parma Heights is a suburb of Cleveland and Ill bet it isnt anywhere near as desolate as Brookings, SD, or anywhere else in this stretch of the midwest. Ive always had the attitude that it doesnt matter what you wear, people will makes judgements, bad judgements anyway.

Only someone who is narrow minded will make the judgement that someone is a whore based on looks (unless, of course, youre wearing fishnet stockings and a black leather miniskirt while standing on a corner).

Here how your daughter controls how other people react to what she wears...... SHE CANT!!! Thats right. Clothing goes no further than a first impression, and if they only see you once, thats all theyll get anyway so it doesnt matter. Your daughter could dress formally every day, but if she acts like bitch it wont matter, noone will ever respect her. On the other hand she could dress "like a whore" and be very smart and polite and people will talk to and treat her appropriately. She will get a different first impression out of people, but anyone that bothers to get to know her will find the truth.

Hitler and Hussein both wore military uniforms, would you respect them? How about Colin Powell or Norman Schwarzkopf? See? Its the actions that matter.

Im sure both answers are right. I only say this from removing my engine in cold weather. Of course you have to drain all the coolant and motor oil. Youre obviously right about the humidity levels affecting it.

The hot fluid splashing on you was one I was going to use. I was going to say that the oil likely burns longer because it insulated much better.

The only instance that I could think of that would be a more closed system (albeit not very scientific) would be to have bucket of cold water and cold oil. Stick your hand in and learn. I dont have that much old motor oil around so count me out.

  16. Re:Transformer Oil - Electrical & Thermal Prop on CPU Convective Water Cooling · · Score: 2, Interesting

I remember posting in a car forum after doing some research. Oils are very BAD.

Thermal contuctivity for water is .6W/mK (bout halfway down the page)
The oil I found was from some company called Slovnaft out of Slovakia (the only one I could find that would provide details). But their oil that is specifically meant for moving heat has a thermal conductivity of .13W/mK.

Another thing I might point out is if youve ever got motor oil on your hands youll notice it feels warmer than water of the same temperature. It doesnt carry heat away like water will.

From what Ive encountered from most diehard linux users is that they literally do want everything to be open source or free.
