while you're nitpicking: the column on the left says CPU. The CLOCK is that much faster, we all know the difference between clock speed and cpu speed here.
I can understand the warning "Warning: you are using an Evil Command(R) "memcopy" and your program will be a piece of crap as a result", but there's no need to break already compiling code.

I found the most enjoyable game storytelling technique in Torment. The hero is himself unaware of the story (has amnesia), and the player discovers along with him clues to his own past and the story behind the game setting. I loved how I got a first glimpse of what's going on and then the plot was progressively clarified.
At this point I would like to point out that Opera's ad blocking does not have a whitelist and Opera does not have ads on it's page.:p
I would like to point out that almost nobody uses Opera.
"Almost nobody" used Mozilla until a few years ago. "Almost nobody" still uses Linux. Not respecting the minority is a serious no-no here.
Besides it's not a question of who uses it, but of what's the best behavior. I mean, most people uses Windows... I rest my case.
Does this mean if I'm hosted on the same server as a blocked site I get blocked too? If that's the case I think there's legal action material right there.
An open game world should have an open content: An achievement in the game should allow you to add to the world's history. Then other players should validate it to become part of the world's lore.

The fact that eve's IGB sucks so much and is still used is a testament to how much of a crucial feature it is. Actually the ingame-specific extentions to HTML it supports are a stroke of genius ( you have links that let you interact with the game, such as entering fleets or checking prices). So, as soon as you finish reading this, CCP emploee, stop goofing off on slashdot and go fix the IGB. And make me some drone bandwidth modules for my high slots while you're at it!
What I found newsworthy is that I can expect the latest windows worm / trojan / virus to brick a whole bunch of network cards (at work, don't throw stones) as it's now more clearly documented that it can be done.
I think it was mentioned in a previous article that the real bug is that bricking through software is possible at all.
For the humor-impaired, performing ROT-13 twice results in the same text as the original unencrypted message. Performing ROT-13 twice again to "decrypt" would once again result in the same text as the original, unencrypted message. It's just a joke, relax.

I can see it now:
Blizzard thinks the new feel is great, and will delay diablo III another 6 months in order to implement it. In other unrelated news the inspirer of said change has gone into hiding for reasons unrelated to the angry torch-and-pitchfork wielding mob outside his house.

What hard drive survived that, that's what I'd like to know.

Can't get the site. I hope it's me and the site is not slashdotted, because if it's hit by THIS article the server hosting it might actually explode!

Please have in mind that the XP version of the eee has better hardware. I think you can't for example get the big battery on the linux version.
Of course cryo-treatment does something... you get to say you cryo-treat your cables if you do it and people go "Aaahhh".

It's too weak. You can use it, but you must encrypt everything twice just to be safe.
I confess my geek-fu is not strong enough to understand what he does, can someone shed some light for the networksavvy-impared?
