I think the thing that makes Ubuntu so widely praised is exactly that... it is 'just' a great Distro. Not many others at the moment are as stable, up to date and completely free while still being user friendly.
Not really the ideal portable music player, but the PSP plays (unprotected) AAC audio files just fine.
It's strange that other Sony portable players don't support AAC/MP4 while the PSP does. (I think support is mainly there to allow it to be used for movie audio and music support is just a bonus.)
Because having a (relatively) small amount of C02 venting into the atmosphere over time is much worse than having a huge gas bubble erupt and kill a thousand people and then go into the atmosphere anyway.
The Australian iTunes "Videos" section is a joke, it is a few music film clips and some old Pixar shorts, no TV Eps at all, and a severely cut back amount of other videos.
Slightly OT, but the sunglasses industry for one... some manufacturers of brands (I won't name them here but it's probably not hard to guess) that want to maintain a certain "image" will refuse to do you deals or even supply your store at all if you don't sell their glasses at a RRP they choose.
The HDA Mystique is brilliant if you want to use a reciever with your PC. I have one running optical spdif to my Pioneer reciever, a few of my friends have heard it and run out to buy one to replace their Audigy2's and Onboard Live24 audio chips.
I remember a Q&A with Creative, someone asked when they would do DolbyLive encoding, and the rep said no one wants anything like Dolby on their PC... I think it shows that creative would rather add another digit onto their EAX version than actually try new technology.
Except colds are caused by a virus not a bacteria, and coughing is a natural reflex of your body to remove or breakup phlegm which is created in response to the infection.
My favourite was having the standard TV volume OSD bar appear on screen and start moving up and down. It even had me fooled for a minute until I remembered I was playing on a Dell LCD without a volume OSD.
It's a nice bonus for those of us who don't own a laptop (or carry one around all day.)
There's a whole range of free wifi points around the city here, and while I won't say it's an amazingly useful feature, but it's a nice bonus to be able to check webmail ect. while waiting for the bus/train/sitting in a cafe.
Same here in Australia, no official PSP until september, and the few local companies who were offering imports magically went "out of stock" (permanently) when Sony started sueing the UK importers.
His name actually IS Denis Mirabilis. (Perhaps changed his name because of the latin term?) He's known as a sort of "troublemaker" to the police here, as he loves taking on this sort of case.
He works for a law firm called "Nyman Gibson Stewart" if you want to look it up to confirm this.
Yes what people forget to point out is that the Creative replaceable battery is still a proprietary piece, and costs almost as much (Around $40) as sending your ipod to apple for a replacement battery.
Are you serious? Just about every office/computer/electrical store here sells boards like that. I picked one up the other day with 8 individually switched sockets + surge protection for AU$29...
Yeah because you're much more likely to get a good catch in a dark overcrowded place where everyones drunk off their face, compared to an arcade where at least you can see who the hell you're trying to pickup?
You linked to GoZilla Plus, which as far as a quick read shows, you have to pay for, wheras the free version (when I last used it years ago) had a constantly changing banner ad in it's main window.
I'm pretty sure ANY encrypted traffic going outbound will raise suspicions from the chinese govt. sure they won't know what you were viewing, but that won't stop them arresting you all the same.

I think the idea is to aim initially with the coloured glass/filter, then remove it once you have your light aimed.
Taiwan != Thailand. Taiwan (and indeed a large part of Thailand) is a major industrial country, hardly part of the "non-developed" world

In this case, the "emulators" become the 3rd party patches (and cracks) that are out already that allow offline play.

Maybe call it a satellite phone! Amazing!

BF2 dosn't support software rendering, it requires pixel shader 1.2 in hardware, much to the annoyance of owners of older video cards.

You can buy PS/2 to USB adaptors for under $15.
Just a note that the one on extensionroom is several versions out of date... the latest version is at the authors site:

'Deh' 'Vore' 'Ack' at least thats how I say it, dosn't seem any harder to say than Qwerty to me.

AFAIK since it runs symbian it would be trivial to compile and install new codecs for it. (OGG or FLAC anyone?)
