Because when it comes down to it, most of us would rather have sweet explosions and bass while watching battles in space than sit there listening to silence for half the movie... If you're really that worried about realism in a movie, maybe you should stick to documentaries?
Exactly my thoughts, why did this stupid bit need to be included on the end of the post?
Should we have all news posts like: This developer says they will support linux, but their previous work on windows systems seems to suggest otherwise?

A short way into the game you can read some newspapers and you'll notice that earth's governments have (since the end of HL1) surrendered to the Combine and now apparently work with them to quell resistance.
I think it was more a contract based limitation (i.e. agreement with their record company not to sell stuff behind their backs) wheras they may have gotten around the clause by "giving" it away for charity.
Huh? You're claiming a *national* govt. dept processing welfare payments, student payments/assistance, healthcare assistance, employment services and many other services, with multiple offices in every large town, let alone city and state has less nodes than the dept of education in just victoria?
I'd like your to show your sources for such a claim...
Anyone who watches Today Tonight or A Current Afair, with the least bit of intelligence knows they are nothing more than trouble makers who almost always take the most controversial side of arguments just to generate viewing numbers and get people angry.
The fact that major corporations (McDonalds) actually listen to them is really scary if you consider the amount of unprofessional journalism and general lack of any real understanding of the stories subjects they use every week.
How many legitimate companies with overpriced premium only phone lines would be on small south pacific islands?
Incase for some reason there is, customers can get the number whitelisted anyway.
That's why I like audioscrobbler it loads as a plugin to your favourite media player and creates lists of people with similar interests to your own, you can then view their play lists and find new songs you might never hear of otherwise.
Hmm it's worked for me in Windows since quite a few versions before 0.9.3, you haven't done any config editing or run one of those firefox "optimizer" programs?
Type about:config in the address bar, goto keyword.enabled and make sure it's set to true
I wouldn't listen to quality remarks from anyone obsessed with Monster (ripoff) cables. Really any half decent cable (not the 2c stuff, but not some stupid overhyped brand name) will do perfectly well with any TV quality signals.
There's a problem with this? To be honest I didn't think Doom3 was all that great, and being able to rent it online for a couple of days for less than the cost of buying it would be great.

Please introduce yourself to the wonderful new technology of NiMH... only NiCd need complete discharge cycles to maintain full capacity.
"Our" beer is safe, most of it is either owned by New Zealand(Lion Nathan) or Japanese corps...
You know renaming a bitmap file to .jpg dosn't actually make it a real jpeg file
Don't deal with passable english? You must have a hard time buying PC hardware, or do you just avoid reading all the included manuals?
Possibly, or it could be your ISP shaping the bittorrent ports, as a few have been caught doing already.
