As soon as I saw it, I knew that mass producing american flags as stickers, magnets, and hats would be a way to make a quick but.
Was it ever! I made so much moola in a such a short period of time that I wish we would get hit again.
of course this is not me - but I simply wanted to raise your emotions about how capitalistic our society is and let you be the judge... how did you feel when I typed that?
I think in about 10 years when the people coming back from iraq (if they ever do) get sh1t on by the general public like the vietnam vets did, then public opinion will start to rise. Sad that something like that will have to happen, but since half of the country loves the whole american idol thing more than politics and will vote on the side of the isle that their great grandaddy voted for, we just have to wait for people to wake up and take the red pill.
That or the iraqi vets will get spit on by the people who were sporting the "support our troops" stickers on their cars, but will then be taxed out the yin yang to attempt to make our dollar worth more than the paper its printed on again.
they do the president. The media, which at one point was probably controlled by liberals has now shifted into some sort of... monster. Republicans don't control it - Murdoch does... that guy is probably one of the many possible anti-christs but I digress:P
For the most part, the millenials (those born after 1980) don't care much about politics, and those who do mainly have skewed, false information.
Did anyone see the california train derailment that happened in cali? I would have never known about it if my brother, who ordered something from newegg tracked his shipping details and it said "train derailment" and called and told me.
The millenials don't care about things unless it jumps up and smacks them in the face. Its sad, really.
same thing... Its the same thing if you were to tinker with a car, practice guitar, or play some basketball. Although the latter would at least get that bean burrito butt out of its chair.
dontcha think? So, in GH3, Gibson gets their name on the 'guitar controllers' and now they are pulling this. You'd think charging 1000 dollars for a real guitar would keep you in business without having to go on this particular rampage that they've chosen.
This is where I give the company I work for some props (as far as comsumer sales goes)...
They ask what sort of games are played and tell them what they won't and will be able to play, and recommend a non-integrated graphics card when applicable.
Also, I get to see the new *beastly* machines before they come out....... And yes - I want that dual 9800 GTX watercooled setup which the public can see tomorrow (i think?) - I dunwanna pay 6,500 dollars though!!
oh wait... its the other way around right? Whatever they find, i'm sure pardons will be given all around to both sides of the isle when Mr. Bush leaves the white house.
They already dropped the price for the reason that their sales were getting pummled by the wii and 360 - I seriously doubt anyone outside the tech sector is going to know what a die shrink means and/or correlate that to a cheaper price.
and also, it seems to me that the PS3, at 399 is a great deal - considering it has a blue-ray player in it and rivals the strongest console systems, graphics wise. With that being said, the reason I will not buy one of their new versions is it will not play playstation 2 games like its predicessor.
(yes I know my spell check is broken and coffee hasn't kicked in yet.)
Like Ron Paul... "I don't know much about the healthcare system"
No offense at all if you are a supporter, but he actually said that on an interview. I mean... wow - the guy's a doctor... It seems if you choose to take on such a mind boggling profession, that you are in it for the money or to help people... one will always be a higher priority. I don't want someone who doesn't care enough to know about the health care system in a position of great power to influence it.
i agree - in a round about way. while dell and others are starting, the idea is just emerging... these drives will make for good next x-mas gifts, but right now, too expensive for your average joe.
I work with a major computing company's storage division and SSD is no where in the talks right now which is pretty much why I state what I am.;)
and to be completely honest, in the last year, only one person has asked about SSD. Seriously. And I talked to probably around 2000 people who use sas and sata storage solutions.
I fully agree - but not in 08. As far as large indexes and such - raid-10 yourself and save some duckets. I have first hand exposure to this stuff and for 99% of people, they are wow'ed by the performance of a simple SATA raid array.
Maybe in 09... not 08... unless we get chipsets that can supply greater throughput, the chipset will become the bottleneck - therefore, the only reason to have one of these is in a laptop or desktop... and thats for people for whom price is no object.
In the enterprise sector... forget about it... Even SATA drives are becoming ideal for storage solutions, and a simple raid-5 will max out the cap of a raid controller's bus.
but come now - have you ever played tennis? If you have ever played basketball, imagine that but not getting the chance to stop for setting up your next game plan.
If you want cardio, trying to keep beating your record in the first boxing practice thing is great for your upper body and cardio.
Unless nintendo (being the intuitive ((not a fan boy)) people they are) have already thought about this and are just waiting a while to release a title that you can use this functionality in.
Of course, having a 42" plasma or larger is going to be the optimal thing here - and since the wii is priced to sell, then a lot of people are going to be using them on their old 1980's 27inch CRT's.
Yup... there was....
microvision.com
I'd love to see it in the real world...
my apologies - I typed that 10 minutes after I rolled out of bed....
;)
In other words - it made sense to me but the rest of the world was prob left in the dark

and letting me think that a religious group is behind this study? (nothing against religion -just throwing the obvious out there)
Try to hack one of those! :)

but why bother when copper can do 10gbs?
forget upgrading to fiber - the ISP's just need to replace their hubs to accomidate new tech. Or I could be just flat wrong... who knows.
adding a projector into the phone...
as described by Microvision's statement that they are in talks with a major company. Could you imagine a phone with a projector? I sure could... and I want one.
FTM's!! That sounds like something out of The Princess Bride.
Please forget i'm easily distracted and now and that scientology has been around forever and people are just starting to form "groups"
give me a break.
Very cool info - thanks.

Sorry to get off on that tangent.
will have control soon.
If they let something like this happen... yikes.
One of those doctors creed things is "will help anyone"
and last time I checked, the poor included anyone. Yes, i'm a socialist democrat, but I also have a good living.
the government allows cloning but not stem cell research....
In the words of Peter Griffen... "WHY ARE WE NOT FUNDING THIS!?!?!?"

So in other words... I don't see it.
does fast food cause violence?
I wonder how you might pull this off with the wii version... I might have to investigate...
but come now - have you ever played tennis? If you have ever played basketball, imagine that but not getting the chance to stop for setting up your next game plan.
