since the pharmco's are the 3rd most profitable industry to invest in, and i'm sure Mr. Bush has friends in that dept, maybe the whole "ethical" issue is really just wagging the dog?
when will people realize video games don't cause violence? They cause people to show up to work late, neglect real life issues and revert to a hermit-like state.
I can't help but wonder how much electricity we are wasting with people leaving their boxes on (for a good reason mind you) but wasting a bunch of it at the same time.
the PS3... I mean, their price drop was good, but if they want to win this war, they should have lowered more and kept PS2 compatibility with the PS3 instead of gimping it. I'm waiting until after x-mas to see which is the winner... looking like its going to be HD-DVD... i've already seen TV ads, and thats half the battle right there
entry level college course... chem 101... This person says that about 5% of the people who walk into his class without it being the 2cd time to take it, have no idea what is involved in chemistry, and even lack the basic math to do many calculations. So lets see... its probably been around 5 years since chem sets have had their "balls chopped off" so lets just wait a generation and see how those poor saps do when they are forced to take chem as a prereq for something non-related to chemistry in the first place.
but why get that nit picky? If you can tell me someone besides Rain Man who can tell you every scenario, i'll show you the impossible - you can't live long enough.
A perfect example of this is HL2... I loved Ep2 - but it was really short, and once the game was completed (and very short... did I mention that) I won't ever play it again... I'll of course play the sequels and any mods that pique my interest, but aside from that.... nope
All this points to is the failing of democracy. Whether it stems from voter apathy, or lack in democracy itself, all I can hope is this doesn't spread.
I know there are lots of people in the US who would gladly sell off their vote because it doesn't matter. I won't name the state I live in, but the person who I am likely to vote for is not in the majority, therefore, my vote really doesn't count in the end.
Which is why I am all for getting rid of the electoral college.
Can we have an electoral elemetary school? That might work better.....
that video cards will get better, games will get much larger, and of course - we'll all be fighting over which format the game will be on and complain if its blue-ray and we have HD-DVD, and vise versa.
ah, because you can't understand simple ideas, such as "since most linux people use IRC, they are more apt to be trojaned than windows users who don't use a program that is easily infectable and gives ip info, and is a portal for ideas, where ultimately, someone will disagree with you"
"Well, sure, but not in our dreams. Only on TV and radio... and in magazines... and movies, and at ballgames, and on buses, and milk cartons, and T-shirts, and bananas, and written in the sky. But not in dreams, no sirree."
Ok... ignore that... Seriously - how will it handle? Any Wii owner will tell you they were very disapointed with Red Steel, so is the light saber action only going to have 3 or so programmed swings or is it going to be 100% interactive?
drive? It would only make sense that since its solid state it would be faster than our primitive hard drives with their moving parts... (yes, I know about SS Hard drives and don't have 2500 dollars to spare)
It takes some getting used to (and i've been an FPS'er since the very first one)
Items can be hard to find sometimes... Set the difficulty to medium... I would have no idea how it would be possible to beat it on expert... the big guys that protect the little girls would be impossible.
It is a bit overwhelming at first, as there is a lot at your command all at once, and there is a small lack of in game tutorial, which you will understand with experience playing, so no big loss there.
With that being said... its a game I might buy... But since quake wars just came out.... uhh dunno!
not if it is more profitable to treat a disease than it is to cure it.
I am living proof of this as my meds cost around 80k a month.

I thought... wow... now theres an application that will really work!!
Then I used it...

.. considering it... then I got to the last line =/
with a spoon, you could easily see the needle... with a shovel of a hay, the needle becomes a little more hard to see.
Did I mention its not backwards wednesday?

Is that more up your alley, AC?
a lot of linux people have the holy than thou (the young liux crowd that is) and most all linux people use IRC.
Where is it easiest to find out almost everything about someone? Uh huh! Need I continue?
from "2001: A Space Odyssey"
But the wierd alien baby at the end... don't ask me about that.
Hahahaha!!
I know not very many people will see your post, but I wish they would!
Captain America - "Did you ever want to be anyone else?"
Hippy - "I'd like to try Porky Pig"
Captain America - "I never wanted to be anyone else"
"Didn't you have ads in the twentieth century?"
"Well, sure, but not in our dreams. Only on TV and radio... and in magazines... and movies, and at ballgames, and on buses, and milk cartons, and T-shirts, and bananas, and written in the sky. But not in dreams, no sirree."
they should put on the disclaimer... "More likely to shatter on impact, if you are lucky enough to have survived it!"
:)
**My personal disclaimer - I'm not happy with airlines, so don't look at my like that!
right, but will it be FAST as an internal drive? If its got the theoritical throughput... hmmm
Ok... ignore that... Seriously - how will it handle? Any Wii owner will tell you they were very disapointed with Red Steel, so is the light saber action only going to have 3 or so programmed swings or is it going to be 100% interactive?
That is what will make this "cool".
