This is a great way to get in lots of trouble. In the US, by law, you better be able to show an association between the requirements between what a you put on a job posting, and how it is necessary for work. Taking your example above, needing to be Fluent in Sanskrit. If I apply to that job I could go the EEOC and say that the requirements are BS and I am qualified and should have been hired.

Think of it another way, if I said (for an IT job), "blacks need not apply." Being black would have nothing to do with IT work, I would have my ass-served in a hand-basket to the EEOC. The company that let me post that would be in big trouble and I would likely to be out of a job.

To take another recent example, jobs that are requiring an SAT score. These companies said that having a high-SAT score related in could job performance. If they said that, they better be able to prove it (which I doubt). SAT scores are used to determine the grades of freshman going to college, not a mark to determine your job skills. You complain that you did not get a job because of your SAT scores that you took 10 years ago, you can get money out of those companies.

Just because a company says it true, does not make it true. They have an obligation to society to serve its interests as well as their own.

Where did this number of $21-$36 billion dollars of worth come from? Alot of tech companies are drastically overvalued because someone is out there trying to hit the jackpot game and make a bundle. However there is no basis for this valuation of Google. For a regular company to have this sort of valuation it would need to be earning $250 MILLION a QUARTER! This would result in a, at best, mediocre company earning 5% a year.

A am not saying that they should not go and run for the dough, but anyone who convinces themselves that this is the next big thing and drastically overpays will at best break even if they are lucky more likely they will just lose their money.

The legal process may seem complicated but when it comes down to it, a judge will listen to a regular Joe just as intently as he would a lawyer. If you are too intimidated to go in front of a judge, you have already lost. Don't let some lame-ass attorney tell you have to purchase justice, do it yourself. The result can be very liberating.

I rarely play demos, they tend to be too large, which does not feed my fix of playing now, and they are too limited, which does not give me a good idea of the scope of the game.

The thing I look for when deciding to purchase a game is a review, usually on Gamespot. I can get a general comparision of what the game is about from the article, but I generally use the reader's score over Gamespots score which gives me a better idea of the quality of the game. The problem most indy games don't get reviewed on something on Gamespot, and I lack the willingness to look too hard for Indy games, which is partially my fault. I just don't have the time to comb over looking for computers.

Does not mean I don't wish the best luck to them. And if they are somewhere I can find it, I would be more than happy to look.

It is called a self-forfilling prophecy, make a prediction, create the conditions for it to come true and voila! self-forfilling prophecy. If they made the books cheaper people would not bother making such an effort to buy used books. In addition, the material does not get dated, but somehow there are always "new editions" re-presenting the same old material in a new way, like that somehow justifies a new book, so you have to purchase a "new book".

    • George Bush is andriod
    • Linus Torvalds is not american
    • John Wayne was gay

Classified materials are barely protected, most of them are just plan everyday stuff but they are not really important, basically any paperwork done by the Pentagon can be "Classified". Now if you are talking about "Secret" or "Top Secret" that is the stuff that keep in vaults and you need a clearance to even know some of that stuff exists.
