wouldnt this mean that we have already gone faster than the speed of said light. i mean i think my car goes faster than 0m/s right? what implications would this have?
Im currently using windows software raid, however Id be interested in using another system if it worked cross-platform. Clearly the ntfs support here is marginal at best. So is there a way I can access these files on both systems while still having software striping?
thanks
Im 17 now, moved out to university, before though my parents trusted me and my younger siblings with our own pcs. Does it really matter if they see the stuff out there on a pc in their rooms or over at the friends house on their pc?
im already on crash 11 today and im running win xp, with the latest drivers, virus scanner runs nightly, ran spyware s&d every day (same with ad aware) and it still crashes... there is no stopping it. it is INEVITABLE
that would cause a big company, like the mpaa or riaa (i shall run i have broken their dmca...) to be formed, but would be called somthing like the computer entertainment association of america or the ceaa. they would try to stop pirating, self distructing the industry and single handedly cause all future games to be shit quality. would we really want that?
I needed one thing, battery life. if they had a tablet pc with the battery life of my centrino dell laptop, i would have opted for that if it were not a huge price gap. however at the time there were only 1-2 tablets that fit the bill, and they were significantly more expensive than my dell 600m (i think,.. bad party last night...)
and there isnt very good linux support for either, i guessed there would be a better chance of getting a system up on the centrino pc than a tablet.
and using the ttc as my main means of transportation, i think it would be cool if they made the subway system a terrorist site, not like it hasnt happened already. Well they just dont tell you that part, ive seen my fair share of shit happen on the subway's here, and lets just say a video game aint gonna change nothing!
I already do this with my, dare i say here, hotmail account. just set the spam filter to exclusive and put all your contacts into your safe list. It was the only option after i ran out of black list spaces.
Now that i have everyone i know on hte safe list it works great. with a weekly lookt hru the junk folder to be safe (takes at most 20 seconds to scan the usually 200 emails)
Its simply a matter of time. that one person who cant take it anymore and the damn thing crashes... again! they put their fist through the monitor, accidentally hiting a capacitor with how many kV in it, ZAP fried human... whos hungry?
Many people have known about this theory for years. So they calculated oh itll take... say 5 minutes for this ship and 10 for another... who cares, when they have video of a ship sinking then that should be on/.!
I might be an eskimo, but i still want to buy my music legally. sure we pay the blank cd tax, but im sure we could stillb e thrown in jail regardless. that site that started up has none of the music i listen too, or their search engine sucks ass. Try looking for autopilot off or yellowcard. I looked at all the major cd stores in down town toronto, and none of them stock their cds, im impatient and dont feel like waiting 4-6 weeks for them to order them in so i resorted to downloading them. when they finally get their act together and offer the music i want when i want it, then i will pay for it.
is linux's lack of driversupport. i dont have the skills or time to write my own, and if i dont have access to half of my hard drives, because my ide card is unsupported or wifi because the centrino wifi is unsupported you expect me to be happy and use linux anyway? well yeah i do have dual boot on my desktop but i need wifi on the laptop and its only a 40gb drive, not big enough for that.
but 19 years old... im going to calgary at xmas, guess what im stocking up on... you guessed it... yup yup... only one more year till i can uh legally... nevermind that im gonna shut my mouth now
you americans make me sick. why is evrything that gets invented automatically going to be used for crashing planes.... like i thought the whole point of terrorrism was to make people paranoid... oh wait.. guess it works then eh?
I lost a document that i _NEEDED_ on my laptops hard drive, i had deleted the partion formatted and installed linux. (go figure)
I got it back by using some dos hard drive hex viewer program i got off the net for free (forget the name now). But after 8 hours of searching i found it and peiced the document back together, as it was in about 50 million fragments, thanks to ntfs and M$.
All in all I would go thru it again if i needed too but the automated tools i tried had no joy trying to find it. Only with the hex editor was i able to get anywhere.
for the love of all that is holy cant we just let floppy's die already! they cost more than cd's, store way less, slower, and well they just suck with that sound and everything!
