But my understanding is that it is the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted works (ie uploading/sharing) that is illegal, and the search engine would only benefit downloaders.
Or would it? Since BT causes downloaders to automatically share...
I was thinking the exact same thing. I will never buy an IOMEGA product ever again. They not only produced shoddy crap, but they treated their customers with contept as well.
They now sell things under other brands as well, surrepticiously dropping the Iomega name and using cyberhome or some such instead.

At least, that is what a customer service rep told me on the phone once when I was disputing some charges once.
I have to wonder if they don't do this on purpose - I mean, if 90% of the traffic comming out of the country is spam, and ISPs block all mail traffic as a result, the few mails offering details about something the gov't wants hushed up would be dropped.
...why the recent third-party gmail notifier stuff is going on... Looks like they've architected a protective measure for their own branded browser - gmail integration.
Indeed. They will be found guilt, and a fine will be levied. Diebold'll pay with old voting machines. Which are illegal to use now in CA, so they will sit in a warehouse somewhere and gather dust until the cockroaches inherit the earth.
At least old Will Smith CDs are smaller and easier to transport.
To stay in character you'd have had to write: "Fornicating heathens!"
Cheers!

...why does it show me pictures of donkeys when I use my school portrait for the search?

I gather from the recent two stories that the /. editors are hungry - whose turn is it to feed them?
>>So what advantage does a $4.00 movie via PPV (plus additional fees that they might charge) have?
