    What happens if, for some reasons, users of this system are 80% supporter of a given party.
    Moderation will tend to shed positive light on this party, and negative light on other parties...

    I'm pretty sure a hardcore orthodox-religious right-wing whatever... would mod down an insightful article about his view, even thought the article was quite accurate. (Ok, same goes for a hardcore hippie communist anarchist whatever...) :)

    Am I the only person who believes artists should focus on producing arts. That is, what they feel like recording, producing albums people would like to HEAR, not necessarily to BUY (even though one often leads to the other)

    Selling the music should be the labels' job... and not the priority

    The GPL is not an EULA. You dont have to abide by the GPL to use the software... (only to distribute it)

    It makes more sense to dictate how I should redistribute a software (in MS case, I usually cannot at all...) than how to USE it... don't you think?

    And if you read a MS EULA and then the GPL... you would probably notice that one grants you rights while one removes rights... Guess which does which...

    That wont do it I had 4 gigs of stuff and it seems 300 megs were left, after many attempts at cleaning it properly The only way I could get rid of all the files was by mounting the windows partition under linux and removing all the files from there...

    I think the parent was referring to Windows.

    In french, for exemple, "desktop" becomes "Bureau", "My Computer" becomes "Poste de Travail" etc...

    It should be easy to add a "save" functionality to linky... that would be very cool. Of course there are many webpage-grabbers out there. I remember one very cool app that would save every GET request to directories.... dont remember the name though...

    Yes, you shoot things... mostly cameras. Most of the time you use your brain though...
