Because shipping is the issue, and Amazon is not going to expand its shipping operation. The algorithm shifts priority to frequent customers, therefore pushing back other customers. Their shipping capacity is already full (noting customers already recieving poor services) so any increase in one customer's order necessarily reduces another's.
Ditto on the launch PS2 working fine years later... it's a little finicky sometimes with reading games but give it time it works itself out. I've left it on for a month straight, transported it around to friends' (can't remember if I ever dropped it) and it still works fine, honestly best console I've ever had besides my SNES which is still trucking like, what, 16 years later?
Just as a thought experiment...if this statement was true, if 95% of black male Americans in the city of Los Angeles really were involved or affiliated with crime of some sort, would it then be OK to say so?
I'm pretty sure this system could be much more secure than the current system. We've seen time and time again that decentralized systems by nature are much harder to monitor than centralized ones. Phone calls could be routed through many phones, and calls could be encrypted. This is how the Internet works, this is how many of our beloved file-sharing systems work. I believe this is the future of telephony, and could be integrated with Wi-Fi to decrease the burden on individual handsets and increase range by piggybacking on an existing infrastructure.
Mod parent up. Unless consumers speak with their dollars, corporations have no incentive to change. It's America's growing apathy towards wrongdoing that allows this behavior to continue.
Yes, I see it all the time. In fact, companies would still use their Tandys from back in the day if it still did what they need it to do. Companies only care about the bottom line, and upgrading costs money. If the current solution already does the job, then there's no need to upgrade. Don't fix what's not broken.
It has evolved from a gadget toy to a veritable status symbol. Having a hanging iPod from your belt on in your pocket says "I am cool" and, no, no other mp3 player will do, unless it's a nifty phone that does both.
Sad world, but this is why iPod will ALWAYS be the dominant player, no matter how much it sucks compared to so-and-so.
They do know, however, what "WTF why won't this play on my iPod, CD player, computer, burnt CD, car stereo, etc.????" means. People may not be tech savvy but they aren't always stupid.
Sounds like a good idea. Paying staff to review articles is not a smart move. Peer-reviewed articles would remove most obvious vandalism. More emphasis on citing works should remove the rest. Keep the wiki in the hands of the people!
Sure and when some company pays you a little money to leave out that tiny fact about some harm their product does that affects millions of people...
Money solves everything right? Forget about integrity.
I'm not your guy, friend!
On $349 a month? How can you make 349 a month? Working two days a week?

Are you serious? MS Live is like 100 times worse.
No, I'm pretty sure most people don't have a clue what a gnu is.
So wait... if I don't like the new Vista crap, I can change it so it looks like the old stuff? Wow I'll upgrade right away!

If you're using 100% of a car's power, you're probably breaking the law.
So if I grow French grape seeds in Montana I have a French wine??
Funny you say that because I was watching the opening scenes and my girlfriend said "This is exactly like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings together!"
Creators of Final Fantasy XII are the same people who made Tactics. Which is why it feels very "Tactics-ish"
lose...lose lose lose lose lose please
You forgot no electricity. So they can't even use the laptop.
Dude, capitalizing HTML tags is sooo 1996.
You both are idiots. It's Big Red gum... in the Plenty Pak size... you know the bigger ones.

Yeah the same Alaska whose pipeline is just a little broken.
