I buy games electronicly all the time, it's called shareware.
And Im not buying a box that I can trash after I installed my game. Im buying a game that I can play on my computer. If I got it electronicly or in store doesn't matter
Yeah, I think that both KDE and Gnome is suffering from this, instead of aiming for the best OS X, Nextstep or Beos they're just trying to become something that's equal to windows. Which isn't very ambitious if you ask me.
Too bad, now websites will instead of using pop ups as a revenue use annoying flash ads and pop ins. Which is too bad since atm I get the content for free without having to watch their ads.
Oh and I don't see flash ads or pop ins or anything like that, thanks to pithelmet and safari:D
The other realization is that fax maintains the design or layout of what you're sending without relying on HTML e-mail, attachments, or the sometimes slim odds of your recipient having the same software that you do.
PDF does all this, though you'll have to send it as an attachment:)
What I would like to see is modtorrent for apache. Where you could specify that files larger than 20MB would get sent as a.torrent instead. And it wouldn't require you to make a.torrent manually instead it would create it when a file was requested. And put it in a directory so it was ready to serve it the next time someone wanted it. Would work great if you want to have large files such as movies and demoes on your site.
In sweden almost all school students use a site called www.lunarstorm.se and it's not all that rare that people sign up with an account like "person x sucks" and write all kind of stuff there.
Office was MUCH better than WP for Linux. Interoperability with EVERYONE else I knew. No converting and reformatting, no font problems, no nothing. It was fast, easy, and nice.
Might be because everyone are being forced into MS monopoly, you too now.
You could use Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection instead. I don't think that emulator on emulator is very fast.
What is it that you need have Linux for that you can't already compile yourself?
So? It's still a game that you buy if you want the whole game. (You might call that crippleware though)
Ooh, shiny...

Uh no, how many regular consumers do you think care if it will boot linux?
"Im so excited about getting a GC now when I know it will boot linux"
Doesn't sound very likely now does it?

rm -rf -P ~/HLsource
Anyway interesting story, and it must be hard for him, I mean wouldn't you if you lost all your computers.
Making high kicks with the female characters ;)
For the millionth time, AAC regular is NOT DRMed!! AAC can have DRM on it to only allow it play with certain players.
So there's AAC No DRM, and AAC with DRM.
Wrong, AAC isn't an apple format, do you think it stand for Apple Audio Codec perhaps?
Mpeg4 AAC standard
And here's the google result for "aac player"
I prefer color coding the prompt :) Though if you for some reason jump between a lot of networks I don't know if it's a viable thing to do.
I don't know where this missconception came from, but the VT cluster does not run on linux it runs on Mac OS X.
Mac OS 9.2.2 and server in the same sentence, heh.
;)
Might want to try OS X
Problem is that what will people use instead? IM clients? Blogs?
And if there is going to be an alternative it needs to be widely supported.
