    you don't have your gamut right. Software is no longer developed on the level of Machine Language. Understanding of internals is necessary for things like embeded solutions, hardware design, drivers, etc.

    What seperates the boys from the men is the ability to understand complex systems and see the larger picture. These are the people that run a team of engineers to complete a task. Granted there are many in this position that shouldn't be there..

    ICM has built in support for a 3d solution using special glasses and special software to interlace the image, its pretty cool. Beyond that though, ICM has to be the least appreciated and most full featured molecular biology software package out there, and the viewer (ICM-Lite) is free to download.

    6 minutes, 30 minutes, an hour, does it matter?

    how often do people burn an entire DVD? If you burn so many that speed matters you probably shouldn't be using a consumer solution anyway.

    yea, I think she is shooting waaaay to many pictures.. who the hell is going to look through all those photos? I have a 10D and I generally take the attitude, well if I just burst away, there will definately be some in there that are good pictures, but I have never taken 600 in 15 minutes..

    perhaps thats because 99% of homes run cable and DSL, therefore high-bandwith content is not being produced, someone's got to break the cycle though.
