"I have DEP enabled on my system, does this help mitigate the vulnerability?
Software based DEP does not mitigate the vulnerability. However, Hardware based DEP may work when enabled: please consult with your hardware manufacturer for more information on how to enable this and whether it can provide mitigation."

Users of PivX PreEmpt (formerly called Qwik-fix) have been protected against WMF vulnerabilities since December 7th. PivX is the company which maintained the infamous 'still unpatched IE vulnerabilities' webpage a few years ago.
But it's easy to install CalmAV on Windows. Cygwin will be installed and configured. I recommend configuring \clamav-devel\thirdparty\runclamd so it runs as a Windows service.
And an example of an inalienable right is someone with photographic memory recording/duplicating/ripping intellectual "property." This can't be made unlawful even if theatre mis-infomercials declare it "stealing."
The following are replies last year on SPAM-L regarding the use of the.biz TLD for e-addresses and email URL's:
"I think it's been poisoned by the spammers, and by general amusement
that anyone would think that "biz" is a legitimate TLD. Sounds very
hucksterish to me."
"With only a single exception, every one of the ~120 domains I act as
postmaster for blocks all email from.biz, as well as any email
referencing a.biz address in the body."
"As far as I am concerned,.biz ==/dev/null, and I think there's a *lot*
of people who share this opinion."
"I block all mail from.biz domains and all mail that has a.biz URL in
the body as well. I asked about this issue a few months back and only
a couple people said they knew of two, perhaps three non-spam.biz
domains, everyone else said it was spam, spam, spam.
Get a.com,.net, or.us if it's in the US, but never.biz."
For me to merely point out that the message is commonly known via bumper stickers doesn't preclude knowledge that it started with one famous (dead) guy. I described the message this way to emphasize my bewilderment that the message was "Insightful" if everyone has already read and considered it. Maybe "No duh" or "Trite" would be more appropriate : )
The churches are "so-called" Christian because in practice they disregard the first two-thirds of their books teaching that the new testament later clarifies and builds upon and therefore end up with bizarre interpretations.
A repeat of the "Religion - Opiate of the Masses" bumper sticker slogan is +5 Insightful?
A belief or world view that includes beings of non-earthly origin, transcending the self-centeredness of secular humanism and corresponding to reality doesn't necessarily contain or lead to qualities of addiction.
Granted we've all seen so-called Christian churches do bizarre things to seek the Lord on high through emotional states of quasi-consciousness in the name of new testament worship.
Do a search on 12 USC 95 A and B when on March 1933 FDR ammended the Trading of the Enemy Act of 1917 to include the citizens of the bankrupt U.S. and gave Executive Order powers to himself and to subsequent Presidents who declare a State of Emergency.
I'm honored to receive your reply (was it your first Slashdot post?)
I hope you can have a good sit-down discussion with team leaders so they better understand all your desires and concerns for your progamming projects so they don't merely govern top-down, albeit in a more micro-managed way, but arbitrate/negotiate/compromise and change for the better the dictates the perceive to receive from those above them.
Thierry Zoller's Secure-it wizard (donation-ware) secures/hardens Windows and includes MSDN's free DropMyRights to run IE and OE without Administrator privileges (though I can't get the non-admin icons of IE and OE to run on Win2K, only XP; my 2K box may have been already hardened in some incompatible way). Also, you can get preEmpt (formerly Qwik-Fix) from PivX for $20. PivX is the security company that had the infamous and long "still unpatched" page about IE; they developed Qwik-Fix/PreEmpt to address these problems and those yet to be published.
As an aside, I think you meant aesthetics rather than ascetics, unless you're advocating an austere windows manager or console, which some may consider better looking. : )
Yet I would not call the two terms categorical opposites or mutually exclusive. Hobbyists are generally and perhaps by definition enthusiastic about their pursuits/activities/preoccupation even if they don't get a paycheck with bennies. If they do get paid and it is called a job, so much the better for the hobbyist, but the job (e.g., working with the "Enthusiast" SUSE version) isn't degraded or given a negative connotation in the process.
Yep, I had to disconnect the USB and connect via parallel to flash the firmware on an HP2400.
The FAQ has been updated to say the opposite:

Duh, but the webpage that only opens correctly with IE is a file.
Besides applying property theft laws, I thought of another reason why I think Intellectual "Property" is a misnomer and causes problems.

But I managed to access my account anyway because the ATM is built on NT Technology.
