Dude, eat at home and go to a theater with free parking!

Seriously though, this is why most mainstream movies suck these days. They're not made for you - they're made for the teenage crowd with disposable income. "Thinking" people don't make Hollywood any money.

On a tangent, I keep hearing about the decline in sales, but didn't the Mel Gibson Jesus movie have something to do with the inflated numbers last year? And what about DVD sales? How come nobody mentions those?

Its BS to say that "no one will upgrade" to Vista. Are you telling me that software developers will not be using Vista at all? It's a ridiculous notion for a company that develops hundreds of products for the Windows OS.

I was about to mod you up, but I clicked on the link and realized that Apple's leather case is MORE EXPENSIVE than those sold by Coach. I love Apple's products, and dammit they have a right to sell anything they want, but the leather case does seem to be a bit of a stretch...

Thank god you're not in charge of making business decisions at Apple. People are already buying iPod HiFi systems - Bose, Altec Lansing, etc. Apple wants in on that. They know they can charge a premium for their system, and they're gonna do it. And you know what? People are going to buy it. In droves.

Most of your complaints can be traced back to the iPod itself. When it was first announced most people around here laughed it off as being nothing new and overpriced. Don't underestimate Apple's excellent product design and marketing expertise.
