I have a LinuxFund card as well. I agree, let the OSDL or FSF administer the fund. That seems like a natural action (assuming they would want to manage something like this).
I thought I'd send a quick response to this. You can't get a nobel prize in Mathematics. I'm not sure if they could get one with this research for medicine though. I'm guessing it's that possible.
Peace.
I agree. If you look at the CentOS forums you'll notice a lot of people are using (and Linux newbies) it for desktops. I'm not sure why they don't just use Fedora, Ubuntu or something else for their desktops, but they don't.
Either way CentOS does come with gnome, X, etc. by default so there isn't anything that stops you from using it as a desktop OS.
My host telana.com runs PHP5. It actually has a really nice setup running php as your user rather than 'www' or 'nobody' and it doesn't run in cgi or safemode either.

"We are invoking ideas that should be central to the American tradition, such as that a free society is richer than a control society," he says. "But in the cultural sphere, big media wants to build a new Soviet empire where you need permission from the central party to do anything." He complains that Americans have been reduced to "an Oliver Twist-like position," in which they have to ask, "Please, sir, may I?" every time we want to use something under copyright -- and then only if we are fortunate enough to have the assistance of a high-priced lawyer."

Very cool solutions. There seems to be a lot of ppl bitching about it that have been modded up. Someone please Mod this up so people can find out about these two solutions.
I thought it was stuttering because my computer wasn't fast enough (1.3ghz duron). Mine DOES tend to happen around new audio though. It's enough to be annoying, but not to ruin the game.
Remember in StarWars when Luke kept loosing his quarters playing that video game, till he learned the force... Oh wait, that's in the next remake of Return of the Jedi...
You are right, but until we take measures to end the two party cartel which has a stranglehold on our democracy our only choices will continue to be the lesser of two evils.

If your connection is dropping and you're not being asked to connect to another network, make sure that you have not checked the "Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network" checkbox, as this can also cause problems (but was not the root cause of this issue).

I'm not sure what IEEE 802.1x authentication does exactly, but turning it off in XP made wireless stable. Before that I could be really close to the wireless hub and I would be randomly disconnected/reconnected every few minutes.
I tried Xandros out. It can resize an NTFS partition and read from it, but not write to it.

"GNU Arch [gnu.org]. It's not a distribution. It's a version control system like CVS or subversion."
NO. It IS a distribution. I tried out their 0.6 release and I was impressed. Arch Linux isn't for newbies (you need to manually edit config files), but is the fastest distro I've tried yet and has a really nice package manager called pacman.
"Zelda 4 Swords is a Gameboy game!!!
Bitching about having to own a Gameboy to play Zelda 4 Swords multiplayer is like bitching about having to own an XBox to play Halo multiplayer."
They are going to release it for GC. Sorry about the confusion there. I wasn't referring to the GB game.
You might be rigth about FF:CC. I just wish they would make games that were designed for more players but don't require the Game Boy.
Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance was great and didn't require a GameBoy. I borrowed my brothers PSII and my GF and I played BGDA II and that was fun as well.
I suppose my needs are a little different, because I'm looking at playing the games with two people instead of four. I still think they could have made Zelda work with out requiring Game Boys for multiplayer play.
I do think Nintendo is guilty for not doing more to make multiplayer games w/out requiring a Game Boy and that makes me mad.
Why can't you play more than one player on Mario Golf tourneyments? I'm not sure if Nintendo made F-Zero, but you can't play that two player in grand prix mode either. Fortunately they DID do Mario Cart right and it doesn't require Game Boys for multiplayer play.
I guess I should have worded my post differently. I haven't given up on Nintendo, but I will think twice next time before I get their next system. I do like their games because they are fun, but I'm not excited about paying another $200 to play them.
I gave up on Nintendo when they started to require that I have a Gameboy to be able to play games multiplayer (FF Crystal Chronicles & Zelda 4 Swords).
I DO own a Game Cube (and like the games) but next time around I'll think twice before getting another Nintendo.
The reason that people aren't pissed is because each new version of OSX is a lot better than the previous version. It just keeps getting better and better.
As long as the new versions are faster and offer new and innovative features I doubt that MacOS users will care too much.
Well sort of... There is a lot of frozen ice at the top of mountains, etc.
For instance Glacier Park (in Montana) is expected to lose all Glaciers in the next few years (20-30) due to global warming. I think that land based ice is probably where the difference comes from.
Damn, where is Aquaman when you need him?
Has anyone used this product at all? http://keepass.sourceforge.net/ If so would you care to comment on using it?

This article just seems to say which ones have the most subscribers. Does anyone want to take a stab at organizing them by how fun they are?
