I know some companies don't let anyone sell on the web because they want to help keep their dealers around. Schwinn has a very decent policy regarding this...
1. You can only buy Schwinn products online from http://schwinn.com/
2. When someone buys from their store the dealer that is in that persons area actually gets a portion of the profit and the customer is told to bring their product their for any repair/maintenance/etc..
Very good balance in my opinion.... It allows online sales and helps promote the actual dealers...
I love April fools day because it reminds us every year that anything we read must be questioned. Every piece of news we read could be based of false sources, biased or even completely made up.
Unfortunately I agree with your post. NWN was HORRIBLE compared to BGII. The horrible 3d animations just plain suck.
In BGII I loved all the NPC's you could campaign with and all the side campaigns. NWN just plain sucked in this department. Online play was alright, but I could never find anything good.
I hope bioware release BG III with quests and NPC's like BG II graphics like the graphics like Ice Wind Dale II and building tools like NWN.
Did you read the friggin article before you spouted off? The whole thing is that he said we should use alternative energy to produce the hydrogen. He mentioned that wind power would be an especially good power source for this...
They are trying to pass a law to create an opt-in list. If you don't signup for the list it will be illegal for telemarketers to call you. After all isn't that how it should work?!?!
Basically this works because the licence isn't 100% gpl... They say up front that you are allowing them to sell the code and keep that closed. In return they use the dual licence scheme and support the project.
If you take the code you use it to start an alternative project that was 100% gpl, but you would lose the commercial support from the company.
Either way this means less money for Microsoft. I would ask that ALL countries in the world please take action now and consider Linux. If you don't use Linux you could atleast get some freebies from MS!
Good luck!
To be living in the Southern hemisphere. I just don't want to have to tip my world map upside down because it will be a lot harder to read that way....
Always two there are, an apprentice and a master...

The last remnants of the Empire have been disolved.. you are part of a rebel alliance and a traitor!
My cat did something REALLY cute a few weeks ago and I found myself wanting to do the 8 second replay... oh well that would only work in the Matrix...
unless you live in a state that doesn't have sales tax... :+)
#1 --> "Victims say that AT&T and SBC know about the scam and are taking no
:
concrete action to protect consumers from it."
OR
#2 --> "But AT&T spokesman Gordon Diamond said that AT&T has been instrumental
in stopping the scam."
CLUE
"Later Hatcher was told that AT&T would take 35 percent off her bill,
but she'd have to pay $8,000"
HMMMM.......
The Weekly World News will continue to follow this story as it unfolds. Keep watching for further developments.

What do you think the chances are that their main motivation here is that they don't want to be beat to the punch by Linux.
Just imagine if the only 64-Bit servers you could buy were non-MS based...
Universities should also fully cooperate with the BSA. Otherwise they could be in big trouble...

You know I do get a lot of calls like that. Fortunately they aren't as annoying as some of the other telemarketer calls.
I'm running for congress... would you be interested in switching to AT&T?????????
