That is if your local Radio Shack sells anything besides cell phones.
Ain't that the truth. I stopped in last night to pick up some parts for my son's science project (he wants to invent a device that will turn on a light when it hears a loud sound, i.e. alarm clock).
After having trouble communicating the items I would need to the girl behind the counter, I walked over to the section myself. It's considerably smaller than it used to be, by a whole magnitude. Unfortunately, I was unable to hack anything with an old PC mic. I will tender my geek card now.
While it is true that LJZ uses the ATI image chip for some of the operations, this could be ported to the rest of PalmOS with a rewrite of some of the image/screen functions.
The code's GPL. Get crackin' folks! There was a hold up for a while development because the source couldn't be released with current Tapwave SDK license agreements. I assume that has been fixed. During that time, the author lamented that he might make the emulator PalmOS 5 instead.
I'm set to announce a Math museum based on real math. My first exhibit: a video on the calculation of pi. All of it. And none of this 22/7 crap or 3.14 stuff.
... as soon as my 401k, multi-million dollar homes, multiple ferraris and student loans are all paid off and I have some expendable income that I'd rather donate to the Linux movement rather than to my local soup kitchen...
I've been paying off my 401K for years and it only seems to get bigger.
Replacement cars are too much of a pain for me. No way I would want to rewire my car with CAT5 every few months. Maybe I'll upgrade to wireless on my next car and go junker. Is the G standard overkill?
Mozilla seemed to have an "even is stable" mentality until this release. Firefox is close to a 1.0 release and I think the team(s) wanted a "stable" branch to base it on.
I think it is a matter of the common good of the people (and their wants in this crazy thing called a democracy).
I have no problem with you getting piss drunk, gambling away all your money, and killing your unborn child. But some of those actions have effects on others.
I think we know enough of the effects of drunkedness in public (explains most celebrities, anyway). Gambling brings a certain class of people into a town. Many residents don't want that. Ask The Rock. And for abortion, there are plenty of arguments out there already.
I'm all for you having the ability to choose what's best for you. But when it effects my and my family, I have to step in.
To ensure equal Internet access for all subscribers, we maintain a running average fair access policy. Fair access establishes an equitable balance in Internet access across the DIRECWAY Services by service plan for all DIRECWAY customers regardless of their frequency of use or volume of traffic. To ensure this equity, you may experience some temporary throughput limitations. DIRECWAY Internet access is not guaranteed. This policy applies to all service plans including "Unlimited" plans where customers' use of the service is not limited to a specific number of hours per month.
My brother in law has DIRECWAY and hates it. He gets "FAP"ed once a day. The threshhold is a really low value, like ~150MB over 4 hours. After that you're lucky to get 2K/s. Steer clear!

Now, where's my free battery card.
They do have some tracking in place. Go to http://www.flsenate.gov/ and search for the bill by number on the left.
The browser should have JavaScript support, so some web based games will work (non-Flash). Screen resolution will be the limiting factor.
I'm hoping that we'll be able to capture D-pad and button presses in JavaScript.
And the last thing I want is a recall - mine is working perfectly.
You know, you don't have to get a product replaced just because there is a recall.
Will it Run Longhorn?
Oh yes, imagine a Longhorn Cluster of these. Thanks Billy G., we love ya!
Try as you might, a stylus won't work on your TV.
I'm disappointed it work as a GBA connected to the GC.
Hey, at least PC games get fixes. How would you even patch a console game?
Hard drives, memory cards, flash ROMS, main memory (via a NIC or via additional media (expansion disc, etc)), new releases.
There are ways. Only one or two are feasible.
Prior art doesn't mean prior art anymore. It means "I was the first to file for this patent, even if 10 years later". Or in /. terms, "FP! LOL!"

Actually, it's Due Next Fall. Unfortunately, it's only ever this fall when fall comes around.
Awesome. Slashdot one site instead of dozens!

3h 54Mins
Ping time is twice that. Doh!
Even more impressive (to me) is MAME for some digital cameras. That one took my by surprise. Still is pretty technically amazing to a peon like me.
/. user:
Typical
"Let's see what platform I can port [Dope Wars|Linux|MAME] to..."
Try the Google cache...

For that matter, how do you go about returning the song when it quits playing after a few days?
Actually, you can take songs you received as "gifts" (that came from other stores) and return it at Wal-Mart. They don't check.
Hmmm, I smell a new distro just for watching all the material uncut: Linux of the Kings.

"Why build one when you can have two at twice the price?"
I would have used Quantum Encryption, personally.
Obligatory Futurama Quote:
Announcer: Checking the electron microscope... And the winner is 3, in a quantum finish!
Professor: No fair! You changed the outcome by observing it!
I suspect you're a troll, but that's OK.
I think he's just role playing a troll.
