The Spirit Within was a less then stellar movie. What makes you think they can make a beter CGI movie just because it is a legitamit sequel to a popular game. If FF7 were a movie instead of a game people would be like "that movie was horrible. The characters were unbelievable and far fetched. They had a huge black man with a gun arm, a talking tiger, a vampire and the protagonist had a sword larger then his body"
A plane trip trip from BWI to the West Coast is at least 6 hours (not including lay over and such and such). So if I'm really bored and I'm playing the PSP none stop from the runway at BWI sometime around Arizona or West Texas the psp will die. I think Nintendo will and forever have the market on portables.
Milk it, Milk it! MUST...GET...EVERY...OUNCE...OUT!!!
Seriously, as a once rabid Star wars fan turned casual observer I am sick of George Lucas being a money grubbing whore who slaps a star wars label to everything and expects me to pay top dollar for it. Screw Lucas Films, Screw Lucas Arts, Screw Lucas everything. Hey George, I'm flipping you off with my offical Jar Jar Binks plastic middle finger with authentic wookie fur.

It's sad because it's true
I guess you never had to experience the wonderful time of having to blow, slide, alcohol swab (repeat) nintendo games. I have a system at home were I have a one percent chance of getting the game to work the first 50 times of doing the insanely obnoxious routine.
moral of the story: all hardware, no matter what format, eventually dies. And with that said, yes cheerish each and every day with your dreamcast. Just like you, it has a life span.
Am I being retarded are is there almost no difference between the high res and low res screen shots. The flash light looks like it has one less jagged edge in the high res pic. WTF?
Not to be a troll but I don't get why Halo is damn popular. I played the Demo on PC and although it was a fine game I never saw why people treated it like crack. Can somebody enlighten me on how this game blows away the competition?
True. But it stills annoys me that you have to buy an additional item to make your system complete. Besides, I heard there where issues with some of the games trying to save to the 1019 card.
Okay I'm sold. The graphic art on that box is enough to make me buy the DS. Seriously though I think this is a new low for esoteric nerd news on slashdot.
Semi off topic: Remember when systems use to include a free game when you bought them? I think manufactures started making you buy games with systems around the PS1 launch.
I'm still confused why Nintendo won't include a memory card with its bundle packages. Great, I get a metroid prime and a gamecube for a 100 bucks but now that really is $120. $169 for the Donkey Kong bundle is really $189
It's not that I'm for/against having to tweek stuff on the command line. My problem is that when I buy a game I just want it to run. It's not like I'm installing the latest version of Linux or trying to debug a perl script, etc.. Alot of PC games In my opinion, are rushed. Every game for the PC that I've bought seem like they've had some major problem with them. But, people accept this as the norm and wait for the patch to come out. But, if you release a game to the console and it had a major bug there would be hell to pay. Just because the game has the ability to be patched doesn't mean we as the consumer should accept that that is the why it goes.
" If you were playing in Nightmare mode before applying the 1.1 update, you will need to re-enable it by pressing ctrl + alt + ~, and typing 'g_nightmare 1' (no quotes) at the console (for more information about how to enter the console, please see the readme file). Then save the game and reload that new save for Nightmare mode to work properly."
Hey don't I need to reconfigure my IP Johnson Rod setting and edit my ID10t.bat file.
Okay basically the example is put a url in an anchor tag but have it say something else? Big freaking deal! If you are going to click on a link and not look at the bottom left hand corner of your browser to where it is pointing then you deserve what you get.
Even when the economy sucks recruiters will call you. Remember they have to make a living too. Yes they are calling you because they have a job opportunity but they also called 20 other people for that same job.
Way to keep the stero-type alive that all hardware developers/programmers/general geeks look like social freaks that never heard of hair products. Seriously, how much is this guy making as CEO? I hear you can get a haircut at the Hair cuttery for like 13 bucks.
Okay it was cool when people were running linux and what not on this but Jesus Tap Dancing Christ people! Just play the damn games and buy a real computer to do your computer needs.
I never understood why they went ahead and designed their own console/PC. The concept of actually downloading games and basically renting them with a monthly subscription could actually work. However, wouldn't it be more practical to just do this on a standarded PC? The hardware is already there. Why reinvent the wheel? And besides the market is already flooded with moderate to cheap consoles anyway. What parent or game junkie is going to be like "Well I already have a PC and a GC costs 100 bucks and a shinny new XBox is only $150 but I feel the need to blow 500 dollars on system that doesn't even allow me to own the games." WTF?

You can build one of these for at least a third of the price. However, you don't get the cool picture logos on the side. It's cool but not for $3k
If Game Workshops isn't backing this financially then who is?
to his more recent incarnations as a Koopa-stomping plumber
I thought his more recent incarnation was gay super hero with a water gun.

Hopefully they didn't forget about Poland.
Don't forget it's like a movie with a bad plot and poor lighting

I have that card and the game can barely run in 800X600. Have Fun.
