Not yet. But for that comment I didn't need to, as I was talking about the blurb which I did read, not the article.
1. The new 12GB CF card costs $14,000. Because of the high price, it must be a flash drive. 2. The MP3 player the submitter talks about uses a CompactFlash compatible hard drive. I know this becuase I distinctly remember it from a past article on the iPod mini. 3. The submitter talks smugly about something which is false. So I corrected it.
For anyone wondering, I had to do a powerpoint presentation on owls and I threw the commercial in there and happened upon that site. So there's your answer.
My friend tried to run a mail server off of his comcast connection awhile back. He could recieve mail fine, but anytime he tried to send mail it would fail. I always assumed 25 was off anyway.
10 minutes? Are you talking about a preinstall (IE what the machine's loaded with when you buy it) or are you really talking about a full install? Or are you just a zealot?
Actually, no. My sig is part of an attempt at a google bomb not yet really in progress. The link is to the website of my school district and the phrase is just random.
Once I found a piece of news I was going to submit to slashdot. Since I only knew that Quark 6 for OS X was going to be released, I figured I'd throw in an extra bit of information. I asked a question, relating Diablo 2's release to Quark 6's to see how people would make the connection, or to see if anyone would see that it was just bunk.
The select and start weren't actually part of the code; it's just that you needed to press them in order to start the game. If you didn't press select then you would selec 1P, but if you hit select it selected 2P.

Did you see the Final Fantasy movie? The problems with it were its bad characters and storyline. Pretty much all the people who I know saw it simply because it looked so good.
How many adult cartoons? By this I'll assume you mean animation. Well let's see. That would be just about every anime ever. So I'll say ~500.
The only bad thing about that is there's really no way to record from the tv. Or really use the Xbox as a sort of cable box either. You would be using it as sort of a DVD player with no DVDs; just the hard drive.
If you're skilled, you could build a micro-ATX desktop (as oppsed to tower) for more or less the same price depending upon options and get that functionality. With MythTV and
Anything comparing a record's longevity to a CD's is priceless. Not to mention completely futile. I have records that are >60 years old. They survived carelessly laying around my grandparent's house. Compare that not to music CDs, but to CD-Rs which the article is talking about, and you have complete idiocy.
Tons of articles and comments pass through/. every once in a while about wether CDs really do sound that much worse than vinyl, which may be something you're remembering. For me, that's kind of a moot point. As a teenager, I can't come close to affording speakers that would be able to differentiate the subtlties of analog vs digital music.
Keep in mind Melinda Gates was the R&D genius that suggested Microsoft Bob, so I don't think he got the brightest star out of that crowd.

Except the ones in MP3 players are Compact Flash compatible hard drives, not flash drives.

More interestingly, it's been that way since at least yesterday, according to the date at google.
But taking drugs is so much easier. Hey look, ritilan!
And on a different subject, I don't think smoking Crystal Meth is possible. It's usually snorted or taken orally.

I did a fresh install of OS X.3 on a 600 MHz iBook awhile back. Took about 45 minutes.
Not sure if that info will help or anything, but should give you some idea.
Man did you get ripped off. The other day I downloaded emacs for FREE!

I always knew this would come up one day.

I found it very humorous

Here's insightful. Ogg is a wrapper. It has nothing to do with the quality of the sound. You should be chanting Vorbis.

I remember that was 1948. And I think that quote appeared in popular mechanics, though I'm not quite sure.
I also remembering something about it mentioning computers may weigh less than a ton in the future, though I may be mixing references here.
