  1. Crumpler Big Cheese All the Way! on Ask Slashdot: Laptop + DSLR Backpacks · · Score: 1

Unfortunately, it is a Euro-only bag, but I was lucky enough to have my ship pull into Amsterdaam and bought one there. It is a bit pricey, but worth it!

All you have to do is convince the HOArseholes that by implimenting certain green features like rain barrels, solar hot water, solar power, and composting that they could get LEED certification. I have found that the ignorant people whom run HOAs will instantly bend over if they get a little piece of paper with a shiny foil star on it.

How much has George Lucas given to the USC Film School? Hmmm? Or newspapers to language schools? Submitter needs to pull their head from their rectum and realize that industry will support itself by trying to get possible future employees of the highest caliber, even if it means actually teching them something in the process of their education.

Another thing is that the Korolev site mentions nothing of this.

Why not? Idiots change their opinions all the time based on unsubstantiated news clips. Today, the media controlled cattle line up one by one to go into the slaughter house. Zzzap. Thud. Done.

    Fatal error in your logic.

In order for your decrypter to work, you would have to use Company S' PROPRIETARY encryption code in the first place to code your files. They won't let you have that code. Period.

  17. Meh...Card is Attentionwhoring on No Need For Trek Anymore · · Score: 0, Flamebait

I guess that Mr. Card is pissed that his books have not sold so well recently. He has to resort to such things in order to try and trump up ANY attention for himself. I guess that the television medium has taken away some of his readership (all ten of them), and now he has a chance to rant and rave now that Trek is off the air for a few years. And trashing a great piece of SciFi to promote your own (ala JMS & B5) is shameful.

  18. Next Stop, Orbit? on Win the X-Prize Cup · · Score: 3, Insightful

I guess earth orbit would be the next logical step in this venture, although, attaining orbit is also the most dangerous part of space travel. Actually returning from orbit is more dangerous, as there would be the heat of reentry to deal with. I have a feeling that this would be when we start to see lives lost in this competition.

  19. Marathon? on Halo 2 Ready to Ship · · Score: 1

  20. Re:Are traders really that dumb? on SCO Spreads Rumors About IBM Lawsuit · · Score: 1

Look at it this way. Any publicity is good publicity. Especially for a company in the middle of bumfucknowhere Utah. It matters not if the publicity is good or bad, it gets them on the front page of most media sources, which in turn goes to the morons investing in SCO. They, thinking that things are going well (Hey, SCO is in the news, must be a good thing) buy more stock, thus inflating the value. This will end when IBM kills SCO.

Sniff...I will miss that ol' clunker when it dies.
