Unfortunately, it is a Euro-only bag, but I was lucky enough to have my ship pull into Amsterdaam and bought one there. It is a bit pricey, but worth it!
All you have to do is convince the HOArseholes that by implimenting certain green features like rain barrels, solar hot water, solar power, and composting that they could get LEED certification. I have found that the ignorant people whom run HOAs will instantly bend over if they get a little piece of paper with a shiny foil star on it.
How much has George Lucas given to the USC Film School? Hmmm? Or newspapers to language schools? Submitter needs to pull their head from their rectum and realize that industry will support itself by trying to get possible future employees of the highest caliber, even if it means actually teching them something in the process of their education.
Why not? Idiots change their opinions all the time based on unsubstantiated news clips. Today, the media controlled cattle line up one by one to go into the slaughter house. Zzzap. Thud. Done.
In order for your decrypter to work, you would have to use Company S' PROPRIETARY encryption code in the first place to code your files. They won't let you have that code. Period.
When I want almost total anonymity I use Knoppix. Granted, you must have access to the CD drive, and the computer must have a fair amount of memory, it is almost 100% secure. There are many different flavors of knoppix out there, even the CIA has its own distro.
I guess that Mr. Card is pissed that his books have not sold so well recently. He has to resort to such things in order to try and trump up ANY attention for himself. I guess that the television medium has taken away some of his readership (all ten of them), and now he has a chance to rant and rave now that Trek is off the air for a few years. And trashing a great piece of SciFi to promote your own (ala JMS & B5) is shameful.
I guess earth orbit would be the next logical step in this venture, although, attaining orbit is also the most dangerous part of space travel. Actually returning from orbit is more dangerous, as there would be the heat of reentry to deal with. I have a feeling that this would be when we start to see lives lost in this competition.
Anybody remember the game Marathon? Looking back, it seems that a lot of Halo is based off of this game. I remember playing that game for hours trying to get to the end of the next level.
Look at it this way. Any publicity is good publicity. Especially for a company in the middle of bumfucknowhere Utah. It matters not if the publicity is good or bad, it gets them on the front page of most media sources, which in turn goes to the morons investing in SCO. They, thinking that things are going well (Hey, SCO is in the news, must be a good thing) buy more stock, thus inflating the value. This will end when IBM kills SCO.

Mr Nissan registered the site http://www.nissan.com/ for his computer business. Nissan Motors came along later, and put up enough of a legal struggle, that Mr. Nissan had to change his website, so that it cannot be used for commerical purposes, namely, Mr. Nissan's computer shop. As a member of the Loyal Order of Shellbacks, I can attest that I and the crew of the good ship T.S. Enterprise crossed the equator at 85 degrees West , and 0 degrees North/South. There are many a mariner whom have completed this right of passage across the seven seas, none of whom will forget, either.
I am seeing some problems with this set up already. First and foremost, who will have the administraion privileges? Who says what can and cannot be put on this "bbs"? Who will have the physical equipment and/or the storage for this set up? Will there be censorship of things? Will games be allowed over the network?
Just some things that flashed through my mind.
My 486 DX2 still soldiers on, with its Orchid (I feel ancient now) video card and ISA Slots. It works as a good router for the network, but as of late has been having problems with the motherboard solder connections and corrosion (tin components). Sniff...I will miss that ol' clunker when it dies.

But did they Stop, Collaborate, & Listen as well?
I feel like I'm gonna break this damn thing! I wonder how long it will be until someone snaps one of those Airs in half?

Looks like this will be a .Mac clone for Windows. How original.
The original CSM had gimballed engines. So they announced they are going to do the same damn thing that they did in the 60's? Snore.

Nothing like old news to hit the front page. Again. And Again.
Not 'becomes', became.
And February 2nd, every store will be sold out and all of the clubs and raves will have colored foam and bubbles that will not stain clothes.
Is this just another revival of the MAKS programme, or an entirely different thing?
Another thing is that the Korolev site mentions nothing of this.

Cigarette compaines want you to smoke. Credit card companies want you to run up big debts. etc. etc. etc.
Fatal error in your logic.

Lets think this through for a minute here. He worked for the company perhaps? Did that help form a few synapses? RTFA next time.
