  1. Religious Freedom on Apple's Tim Cook Calls Out "Religious Freedom" Laws As Discriminatory · · Score: 1

As a Christian I can understand why people would want such protections from having their small business's being shutdown because they don't want to participate in a gay wedding or activity. The law is the same as the Federal law that was signed by Bill Clinton and has been adopted by 26 other states. Even the State of CT one of the largest Gay protectorates in the US has that same law on the books. That being said I would say as a Christian I would not hesitate providing services to gay people at gay events. Money is money even if I don't agree with their activities. St. Paul says to Christians, to eat meat that was previously sacrifced to Roman gods because the food ultimately comes from God. I look at work contracts that come from the Gay community in the same way. It's work that is comming from God and it's resources being provided ultimately from God. Jesus would never turn away people for just being gay. He welcomed every shunned person in the first century, Women, Prostitutes, Publicans, tax collectors and others. I don't see why he would not welcome gay people either. I think American Christians need to be more like Christ and less like their favorite TV preachers. Sorry folks for taking up too many words or being snarky here like many others.

Actually what I like to do is buy the 500 dollar machine on Ebay, usually one of those vendors that take in corporate returns and auction off the computers without the hard drives. I then throw in a nice SSD and fill it full of RAM and I end up with a 1500 dollar machine for around 500 but of course it all takes a little work. As for the bloatware that's a problem for Mr and Mrs. J Q (Ignorant) Public who trapse down to Best Buy and or Costco and buy that new computer because it looks nice and not because of any true specifications and features.

I guess the kids like to use snap chat now and the latest is the Apple Air Drop and what ever the android equivalent is. So Facebook is for us old people. As for Google Plus I have it because I have a Google account because I have several android phones and some of my comments here and there get posted there. I have sent letters and I have done my level best to harras the office. I'm pretty much ready to be swatted by them. You walk into any of the Insurance companies in Hartford as an American and you will be a lonely person amidst the sea of South Asian / Sub Continent Workers. The visa's are not going to "Brain Trust" workers they are going to server admins, network admins, storage and backup storage admins, DBA's and rank and file developers / coders. You would think that the H1B visa program would be looking for people with unique skill sets not skill sets that are displacing American workers. I"m not alone in this either from being a mid tier administrator. I have friends how are electrical engineers, mechanical engineers who are being displaced. I have friends who are PM's being replaced. US companies are finding out that outsourcing their IT to overseas concerns has not worked out for them that well. So now they are just getting visas for those same people to come here and ruin the type of jobs we went to school to do. So we have Mexican and Latin American's flooding our borders taking menial labor jobs and we have Asians flooding our embassies betting H1B's and that leaves the rest of us out of work. Hell I would grow marijuana just to make ends meet but everyone else in town is dong the same. Sen Bluementhal's office is saying that he supports this because there is language that is supposed to stop all the past abuses of the program. Yeah right. Time to get in the soup line folks...

The IRS had to know that the emails were being actively investigated by congress and they were and are legally bound to have done due diligence and made sure they were all backed up and saved for a reasonable amount of time. Congress needs to send independent FBI investigators in and make sure what was testified was the truth and that there was no foul play going on. If in fact this was all a awful mistake then fine if not then people need to face charges of hindering an investigation, contempt of congress, lying to congress and on and on. The FBI needs to audit along the DR policies of the IRS. The whole we are sorry the PC crashed and or the hard drives were wiped and sent to be recycled rings hollow. It really smells like a cover up and this is what I would consider a constitutional crisis. Allowing the IRS to serve as a political weapon. That needs to stop and people need to go to jail. This is actually much worse than Watergate. As Watergate was comical and slightly sinister with the coverup. This is just plain evil.
