I stand corrected. It has been a while since I have seen any of the movies, and as I stated, I was going on memory alone. Thank you for not being too harsh on me for my mistake. May Heston forgive me.
One of the first words my two year old son picked up was no, but before that, he had ways of expressing his reluctance to do something: Cry, yell, flop on the floor, and other general temper tantrum stuff. Much has been written about the frustration children feel when they have no adequate words to express what they are feeling.
It seems to me, as a layman and parent of two children, that the thoughts and ideas occur anyway regardless of the ability to express them in a language that can convey meaning to others.
Now, to throw another sci-fi reference into the mix, I seem to recall that Caesar, the ape that lead the revolution in the Planet of the Apes mythology, got his start with a single word: No.
On one of my Windows XP machines, I was playing with the different built in themes. When I switched the system back to the XP theme from Windows Classic, I ended up with black forms with black text with black backgrounds. It didn't affect any other account but that one, but it made that account useless.
Nice.
The only fix I could find was to create a new user account and copy my files to that account's document folders and such. Show stopper? Hardly, but it was annoying in the extreme, and it would have been much easier to fix if the GUI were not so tied to the system.
I've killed the X servers on my linux boxes more times than I care to mention trying to get the NVidia drivers set up properly. The difference is that I could just boot up, edit a file, and I was back in a workable state.
I don't know about that. I can imagine the news reports about the threats being phoned in within a month of the aniversary of the Columbine shootings, or even within six months.
Some people just like to paint conspiracies anywhere they can find them.
I've been playing the linux demo for the past couple of days, and it runs better than UT-2003 on my system. From what I've seen, they are going to make sure that linux support is listed on the box this time.
Are you sharing the songs that you downloaded? I was under the impression the RIAA is mostly going after people that are sharing music rather than the leaches.
This will only work well for Comcast if it detects swearing after the call is terminated:
Auto System: Attempting to connect your call. Auto System: Please wait. Auto System: Please wait. Auto System: Please wait. Auto System: All operators are currently busy. Please call back. Good bye.
I have a 30 minute commute, and many solutions come to me while I am driving home from work or refueling my car. Then the only trick is remembering the solution for when I go back to work the next day.
When I was still in school there was a tricky proof on a math final that I just could not work out during the final. Of course, my wife was rather less than enthusiastic when I woke her up at 2 AM to explain the proof that had come to me in my dream. It's amazing how much clearer some things seem from a distance.
It's the beards. Next Generation got better after Jonathon got his beard, and the same held for Deep Space Nine and Avery Brooks. It's a pitty noone grew a beard on Voyager, but there is still time with Enterprise.
After reading through some of the newsgroup postings, I didn't glean any part numbers, but I did notice that what started the whole thing was the "feature" being pushed as part of a firmware upgrade. So, it would seem that even if your Belkin router (consumer models, I'd hope) isn't affected now, it could easily be affected.
I thought the story for the first mini-series was pretty decent, but then the stories got rather contrived in their efforts to bring the aliens and predators together in some of the latter mini-series.

Opening another source of revenue: Sell it to people stuck in offices where the management thinks decaf is the way to go. :)
Umm, try about 5 gallons a week.

What about Sim City?

You should have tried alternate spellings for grey

Oops, left out Frakes above in Jonathon Frakes name. Sorry.

You don't use multiple monitors, do you?
You're new around here, aren't you?
Go ahead and mark this post as redundant, or even offtopic, but it had to be said.
Not to mention the fact that they would both be guilty of sharing the information on how to use said hairpin to circumvent said home security device.
The dark side of the moon gets plenty of sunlight when the moon is between Earth and Sol.
Look here for more information about why we always see the same part of the moon

I don't know how you feel about Netgear, but they are another option.

Alpha Centauri has a color blind mode as well, but given the normal color scheme, it's not surprising that the option is there.
