And, just for fun, the group created an anonymous surveillance system that uses face-recognition software to place a black stripe over the eyes of people whose images are recorded.

Sims deserves an M, for those nude patches you can get for sims. Obvious, no?

C'mon, people, it's a game. It's not like sales of the game are going to cause a dramatic increase in sex, vehicular homicide, murder, and beating people to death with dildos (one of the best ways to dispatch someon in the game, BTW)
Tell that to the makers of Battlefield 2, who automatically cut 20% of their customer base by not putting in about 3 lines of code to make the game work with older cards.
I knew eventually the TI Series would be aged, but I didn't think it would be yet.

The article does bring up a valid point. Many times, when large systems attempt are forced into security by fear, they overdo it, and the system becomes nearly unusable to the users, who have to run around in circles with security measures.
The lesson? Security is nice, but lets not go biometrics and 30 different passwords just to check the email.
SCO loses, IBM does the happy dance and the world goes on.
SCO wins, does happy dance, and counts the billion dollars. but can't go after the home users.
So, I own myself some linux, SCO can do whatever it feels like, and I don't have to pay attention.
Dang, and I was so much enjoying the bickering and badgering between SCO and IBM...
Anyone else think this court case will end up on Pay-Per-View?
I think I heard an *AA speak, maybe if everyone quiets down, I can understand them...
Now that it's quiet, and I've heard them, I can't really say that I put any value into anything that the RIAA or MPAA say, because they have absolutely no idea what the real world is like.
In the real world, people don't care what the *AA's think.
Besides, I make it a point not to put much weight to articles with titles longer than 6 words. If you can't think of a good title for something, then the content can't be all that worthy. Maybe once the *AA have hired some writers(means firing a couple lawyers), people will pay more attention.
Even the SEC is quite aware that there is no hope for SCO.
Some day, we will all look back on this and think... "Well, at least Enron was smarter than SCO."
My suprise is that MS hasn't bought SCO so MS could claim it owned Linux...

I do think that this is a worthy thing to attend, as it isn't so much about the speakers and lecturers. It's about the people. The people there are some the friendliest and nicest people you'll find.

and, most important of all...
