I doubt this is going to take off. Since we have enough problems with people enabling protection in the first place. Unless companys start requiring it, which won't happen because my local ISP gives you a wireless access point with service. But they do not enable WEP or any encryption on the devices.
Yeah but I think more people are really waiting for Counter Strike 2 (Whatever it is called).
Tons of people play Counter Strike, and they all complain about how outdated CS is. I think everyone really wants to know if CS2 is going to be ready at the same time as HL2, because thats where the real market is.
The article didn't mention, but is Longhorn still going to be a complete rewrite as they were talking about before?
I doubt it if they are going to be putting it out in 2 years. So this is basically going to be Windows XP with a new UI, Avalon the new DirectX, Indigo a program "to allow software and services to work across networks and different devices." and some new programming tool WinFX that supports both XP and Longhorns UI.
Here are my words of wisdom. When ever I get a call to fix a computer with spyware from friend, family or even referals I install Firefox and point the Internet Explorer icon to Firefox. I just dont even tell them anymore because most of the time they dont even notice/understand, and when they do after I tell them the advantages they say oh ok great. Usually their ears perk up when I say they are at risk for identity theft and can have their credit cards stolen by just visiting a website.
It maybe wrong to do it without telling them but I would rather have them safe and secure than in the know.
Yeah, that is one of the reasons I have moved to Linux. It really pissed me off when the antivirus software all went to subscription. Why should I have to constantly pay for a program that is almost required? That should just come with the system...
Oh well let them charge via subscriptions, thats the best way for them to dig their own graves.

Oh and all of the negative reviews were found helpful.

"Being an 18 year old girl, and a survivor of internet addiction, I hope that my review can hold a certain amount of weight. This story was certainly eye-opening, and the subject matter of internet relationships and paedophilia is very relevant. However, a story, it was disappointing. The writing style was at its best repetitive and immature, and did not integrate the sophistication, vivid use of language, and control that memoir usually delivers. As a reader and writing, I know that the writing style makes or breaks a book, and even the best written story with the most simple storyline can be excellent. But after researching this book a little more, I realized that this book was never intended to be a literary masterpiece, it was intended to be a therapy exercise, and certainly a poster for internet safety and internet nannying. But let's look at it in a positive way- it certainly shows that teenagers can do anything, and even the sloppiest of writing (with a little editing) can be made publishable."

Dear Katie T and Parry A,
I think it is horrible what you have done to Katie Jones (katie.com)
You should stop all further litigation and change the title of your book and new product line.
If you or Pengiun had the insight to check girl.com before publishing it as the title why couldn't Katie.com have been checked? No one is at fault for this but you, and now because it isn't your site you want her just to 'donate' the domain name. She has had this personal site since 1996, we are in 2004, which makes her the owner of the domain for 8 years.
If you want to see how this has ruined your readers go to Amazon.com and look up the reviews of the book.
Pink Floyd had Dark Side of the Moon bootlegs in stores....
"Pink Floyd played a concert version of Dark Side at London's Rainbow Theatre in February 1972. To their dismay, a bootleg recording of the concert sold 100,000 copies about a year before the official release." Article
And look what it became...
"In the USA, DSotM is the 18th best-selling album of all time and has spent a total of over 740 weeks on the Billboard magazine music charts with the longest continuous period lasting 591 consecutive weeks. It reached the #1 chart position in the US, Belgium and France; even in 2002, thirty years after the album's release, over 400,000 copies were sold in the United States, making the record the 200th bestselling album that year. "Time", "Money" and "Us and Them" have become radio call-in favourites (with "Money" having also been a bestselling single in the USA)." Wikipedia
If it is good enough people will still buy it. So if this record is phenomenal U2 should just finish it.

We have been recieving phone calls from people angry that we are sending them fax specials like $99 to Disney and Kids Free. Please know that they are NOT coming from Flamingo Travel Group in Pennsylvania. They are coming from a company in Florida calling themselves Flamingo Travel. Their phone number is 1-800-328-9795 and they sell time shares.
And then have it work forever.
Oh well mine is enabled

Almost every single review is negative because of your actions against the domain owner of katie.com
I hope you end this and change your titles.

#56 Michael Bolton: I must have put a decimal point in the wrong place or something. Shit, I always do that, I always mess up some mundane detail.

Well good browsing habits will not protect you from Active X.
I don't think Apple would use Lynx
Lynx already is a text based browser.

Yeah maybe one uses Linux and the other is MS, but both of their developers can't code worth beans

A)Sun pays Kodak some money
B)Kodak makes Sun pay for every Java distributed, Open Source will pool together and write a java substitute or use existing langs (C#)
But is that easier than what we do now? I'd rather just stand there swipe the card, sign the screen and be off.
It makes me wonder if they are DOSing more than just 419ers.
