I hope that doesn't mean that users of KaZaaLite (another altered version of KaZaa) will be sued for ip infringement too. I'd guess that about 25% of their users are using that altered version.
On a windows system, I've tried a few different solutions for the software. Snapstream and Showshifter are pretty good. The best front end I've found was Myhtpc.net It's a freeware project with a great community of support. You have to tinker with it more and use some third party apps, but you can cusomize anything (weather, news, mame...) Another great source of info on PRV systems is at Ruel.net
Yeah, the Mars Express is sending information on the planets water. The info they got back from Spirit was: "Error Loading Explorer.exe You Must reinstall Windows, press any key to continue"
What about Canooks? I thought it was perfectly legal for Canadians to download, but not upload, copywritten material. It's easy to get in the mindframe, but remember that the internet doesn't stop for lines on a map.
I admit that the show was cheesy, but the concept of dimensional travel was a cool idea for a show. Season's 1-3 were entertaining to me. Seasons 4 and 5 never happened. I guess this is a dead horse.
-p.s for a show that sucked, you seemed to have watched a few episodes:)
The Truth Machine was a great book. Try reading The First Immortal. It continues the story in the same universe as the Truth Machine, but it doesn't end exactly Utopian. This is offtopic, but that's a great book if you've ever wondered about cryonics.
...or it takes Lucas another 20 years. Then he could just cg all of the characters. I bet by then they could have a cg that could act better than Mark Hammel anyway.

How can the labels stay in business if they have to pay double royalties to the greedy artists. The artists are already getting a fat $0.50 for every $17.00 CD sold. First the record companies lost billions in sales to the evil pirates and now DRM is going to cost them more profits. Will the RIAA be able to afford their paratroopers now? What will this do to their lawsuits. This is a travesty of justice! Why oh why won't someone think of the children?

Shhhhhhh. I just read about a secret version of OSX that can run on a PC! Apple has been developing it along side the PowerPC version. It's codename is "Marklar" or something like that.
Seriously, I'd love a $100.00 ipod, but I'll believe it when I see it.

I loved that old pacman watch too. I remember getting it for my birthday. I would play it for so long that I'd get that little imprint on my finger.

If the RIAA peeps are watching, I'd like to propose an Ask Slashdot with Cary Sherman. If I missed one of those than just ignore me.

Even though I'm a big fan of Star Trek, I think there are some other shows worth trying. Please excuse the yelling:
BRING BACK SLIDERS!!
Thank You.

**dork alert** Actually, TOS had a theme song with vocals. **end dork alert** -
Ummm....I think there's a few more reasons "AOL people" stick with AOL.
"...I stay on AOL because it's the best internet"
"...the only way to instant message"
"...I got this free CD in the mail?"
"...how do I turn it off!"

Imagine all of the ad space on everyone's homepage :( If you don't believe me, just type 'Alt-Home'.

Actually, since we aren't a warp capable society, the Prime Directive doesn't apply to us yet. -

How about the adventures of the "Star Wars Kid".

When I read "Windows of the Future" I thought they were talking about Linux. Nevermind. -
Wow, this jacket looks awesome. I bet it's a real chick magnet too.

Where are my mod points when I need them? Please mod the parent up.

You know who else had flare? The Nazis also had flare. They made the Jews wear it. -Office Space -
