I bought 3 Lord Of The Rings extended versions disks sets at a pawn show for $5 each. Pissed me off as another pawn shop had them for $3. The movie studios lots huge on my sale today.
I'm all for Linux and that's all I use 99% of the time but to me GIMP is just not as user/tool friendly as Photoshop. Now before anyone gets their mouth frothy yes I don't expect GIMP to do what a billion dollar commercial program can do but using the tools in GIMP is just frustrating as its not as smooth/easy as in PS. I could possibly overlook that if GIMP had proper adjustment layers which I think would bring in quite a few people if/when that becomes available.
With RAW/Image processors like Rawthereapee and Darktable I've seen quite a few photographers switch to Linux. Sure if you like to cook your images beyond what you saw in the camera you'll stick to Windows for Photoshop.
and now I'm so happy processing my photos, internet browsing, playing games and just about everything with a 5" screen held in my hands a few inches from my face, yet again experiencing Nintendo thumb from the early 90's
Most of my search results were lacking in relevance vs what I could find in Google. Sure I could probably refine them but its not 1999 and Google as much as I hate them and think they are not good for the internet does give me the results that I need up the top of the search listing.
Last time I listened to the radio in a car or at home that wasn't by accident was 1997, even then it was only because I was in someone else car or at someones house. Before that I'd only really listen to talk radio like Art Bell or shows like Brave New Waves on CBC Canada or Chris Sheppard Pirate Radio since it was hard to access electronic music where I was.
Should have stated this is in CDN dollars and now I checked my providers site and seems the J series is no longer offered and most of the phone prices went up. Huh fuckers.
trance and EDM all in the same sentence. Hell ha frozen over.
Speaking of which I went to my first rave in 15 years last April. Got some nice MDMA and danced my ass off. Luckily there was no new newfangled EDM or TwerkingBroStepBass to give me convolutions, just Techno and Psy/Goa.
I noticed lots of news websites stopped showing photos with their news articles and now only show a video of those photos, I just skip the story all together. Another one is the slide out video ad that pushes down the article text as you read. Who the fuck came up with that idea?
because I had no reason to watch cable tv anymore and had no desire to watch commercials. I've been on and off Netflix for a few years but even that I've watch all that I wanted to watch and haven't used Netflix for weeks. Do I pirate? Sure as hell do but I spend most of my time on my desktop when I can get instant news, play games, run my game server, do some web development.

Well if this was a Canadian reader only website but being as its not, anyone who is not Canadian probably won't know CBC is.

And then we'll cash out once you suckers feed us enough of that info.
I don't get it, why would large companies not control this kind of service themselves for security reasons?

Samsung J1 $140 CDN works just fine and if I break it once a year no big deal.

Are Jedi born to be able to detect these gravitational waves?
it was a Chinese WinAll tablet running Babynix.
