Yes. When I went to school (as a student and not as a teacher), we were taught where other countries were on this globe. Those who did not pay attention in class got to learn the lesson when they were drafted and invaded those countries with which the government used to teach geography.

They have only hit one of my addresses. I had four messages yesterday. None today so the filter is working properly and learning well. I also notice that the spammers still do not send an actual working address which I can reply to, not do they offer any URL which can be visited. They do demand we go to http://www.bluesecurity.com/ to remove our name, then laugh about the site being down, then again demand we go to a site which they say is down and remove our name. My, what intelligence.

I truly understand what you are speaking to. I am also painfully put off when I see such poor spelling or miserable grammar. But the reason goes deeper than just laziess. While visiting my wife at her school one day I happened to walk by the classroom that was used by the head of the English Department. The sign on her door stated, "Good Grammer Spoke Here." How can a student be expected to demonstrate proper language skills when the head of an English Department doesn't even know what those skills are?

  22. Re:Gee, how will they get around this? on Texas Bill to Filter Highway Rest Stop Internet · · Score: 3, Insightful

Big Brother has been allowed to listen in for a while now. The CIPA (Child Internet Protection Act) mandates filtering software at any public facility, like libraries and schools, where children can access the Internet. The same software can monitor what IP address went to which sites, or tried to go, if the filter was actually effective. It is a waste of money, but not unconstitutional as so far determined by the courts. Fastest way to get around the filters is to hand the keyboard to a child.
