Not very cheap, but fast!

The filechooser depends heavily on gnome-vfs, at runtime, no?
Still, I don't think you have to install gnome-vfs for gtk+ to compile/work. Some nice programming in there for sure...

That's because you are using NVidias binary driver, right? Then you have the RENDER extension hardware accellerated, and RENDER is used to compose and draw the transparent bitmaps. Some X.org OSS drivers also have accellerated render, not as good as nvidias though.
I just want to say this again, that's not Russia. It's China! And the image only shows nitrogen dioxide, which is a _man made_ pollution, unlike CO2, which could be produced by forest fires!
Last night our champion hackers got a new update infrastructure landed into Firefox 0.9 branch builds and set up the new server and the new server-side code, moving away from the slow Java based stuff to some much faster not-Java based stuff. Grab today's branch builds and go hammer on this new stuff. Update should be working better and everything should be faster, hopefully.
I've been using Hangout since the start, it's really a part of my life...
The bandwidth needed for that!?
Yeah since when does one issue make a pandoras box... ?
Also not paying is Sony Ericsson:

Yeah, this is what to use! This is what's installed on all Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Suse machines anyway.
Nice! Hope he actually gets something from this. There's been some high profile coverage of this (and the color graphics patent) in Swedish media.
point is, they haven't changed anything. it will be exactly like edgy.

There's nothing over Russia on this map. Go find an atlas.
A map that's a bit hard to read, unless there's a high-res version I'm missing.
When you say ALSA, you really mean OpenAL, right?
That's what Epic uses for UT200*, and it seems to be a really mature and good library these days.
Will be included in a standard install of OSX 10.4.
Is 200kbps broadband nowdays? (Has 200kbps ever been broadband?)
It might be better than modem, but.. 4 times faster, I don't know. It's, halfband, ASDL, but it's not broadband!
I'd go as low as 512kbps!
What about Media 100i ?

No, since Internet Explorers id is

"Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0)"
that's probably not how it works at all.
Or are you saying that IE is inlcuded in the Mozilla stats too?

And they have 6 figure revenues from licenses for something WE own.. ..shouldn't WE get all the money?!
Seriously, if SCO looses all thier court battles, all the money from SCOSource should go to OSDL or something.
This is actually a case where a proprietary and closed network like Skype has an advantage.
Right. No kidding this benchmarks sucks. :-)

Seriously, it makes a great difference what version of GCC they use.
I saw a great boost in benchmarks when I switched from gcc 3.3 to 3.4 on my AMD64.
