It's a process issue. No cause for bitterness. When people realize that they can get a service they want through their computer (a medium that is used as their primary source of communication), then that service will explode as demand increases exponentially. This is a step in a direction that all are hoping...
But realize that I am writing this while EXTREMELY drunk, and to avoid tyops it has taken me a long time to write....
The only issue I take to that is this: I have to haul my ass all the way to blockbuster to get the video. I live in an oldish city, and the nearest blockbuster is hard to get to. it is usually crowded on that block, and it forces me to parallel park. I would rather just get "back into the mood" to watch a movie that I don't have to drive to get.
...do i get the feeling that this is indicative of their future liscensing practices? Is this going to be an OS that reminds us of liquor: you don't actually buy it, you just rent it? Their removal of 'my' has me worried that they are going to consider everything on your computer is simply rented from them...good thing im in love with Ubuntu...I don't have to worry about longhord screwing me.
the only way i could be a dummie is if i actually tried to improve my old saturn's performance.....leaving it run is the only way i can asure myself of my intelligence....
yeah, actually, i have pet rats. once they get used to you, they love to sit on your shoulder while you code, drive, etc....great pets, easy to take care of, and only cost about 5 bucks...

that is the catholic view, called transubstantiation. Lutherans (and similar) see is as becoming like the body and blood of Christ: consubstantiation. modern evangelical Christianity and Baptist denominations see it as a symbol or metaphor. when it all boils down, it really doesn't matter which you choose, i think, but it is an important ceremony or ritual.
There's no intolerance here. We just find creationists hysterically funny, that's all.
as a student of religion and mathematics, and a confessing Christian, I'd have to agree with you...
i would make mr gates walk from normandy to rome giving out cd's with slackware to everyone he sees telling him how sorry he is and how much France can kick his ass...
that has hidden and surprise costs written all over it. also, i ahve a feeling something like that wouldn't really get near to completion until my children are in highschool (i am as of yet unmarried).

they are just gonna lock our mp3s and then charge us the "fair market amount". $200 per song doesn't seem to be all that much for them, however....
