    It's hard to believe that management didn't care that a single employee was the only one who knew anything about critical infrastructure, no matter whether the employee arranged things this way because he thought no-one else was good enough or because this was his was of becoming entrenched.

    I find that easy to believe. Even easier to believe that they didn't know this was the case, or knew but did not understand.

    It's not actually the case of people not knowing the passwords or such, from what I've read in the news sources, it looks like he's locked out the other people who should have access. Think of him as a an admin who either changed the passwords of all the other admin users or deleted their accounts.

    And I'll think of you as an asshole who didn't read the fucking article.

    Caldera was the first Linux Distro I ever used.

    There used to be a billboard by the freeway in Utah County. You could see it when driving south on I-15. It was a Caldera Linux ad and showed a woman holding some dough (bread dough it looked to be) in her hands.

    OK, for real, if my ancestors were English but I live in America, and your ancestors were English but you live in England, it doesn't follow that your spelling is more correct that my spelling.

    And besides, the English got the word from the French, and the first known use of the word as meaning "come to an understanding" was around 1775, where it fell into American usage with a different spelling than the usage in England. So what the fuck is your point?

    Another thought is this; What about when American T.V. is piped over broadband? Is broadband then still a good measurement of intelligence?
