I think most registrars do this, but I know that GoDaddy can "Make any domain private." I think this may involve turning ownership of the domain over to them, but I could be mistaken.
Two episodes of Season 2 have been aired. They're showing Season 1 again, so there is apparently some sort of delay in getting more episodes redubbed. Season 1 had 24 episodes and Season 2 appears to have at least 28 (for a total of 52).
Grandparent: Did these new laptops not have USB or ethernet ports?
Parent: All the laptops had ethernet ports, but strangely enough I was using them to connect to the networks I was on
Cluestick!
The grandparent was suggesting the use of either a Parallel->USB converter/adapter or a print server. Many routers have also had a parallel port built-in to share a printer over the network.
..or something. After extracting my CD from its clear plastic packaging (just a single piece of plastic glued around the CD--holding it against a page), it turns out that it's unreadable.
I guess I *will* have to download it.
mount:/dev/scd0: can't read superblock
Did anyone else's CD survive packaging and transport?
Additionally, it's great to see a CD with the copyright notice, "Some Rights Reserved."

Fingerprint scanners are actually getting pretty
smart now. They are relying on galvanic skin
response, temperature, and signs of healthy
blood density to make sure the finger is really
the flesh of a live human being as well as identifying the swirls and loops.
What's scary is that I've seen no mention so far
of similar safeguards in retinal or iris
identification. Losing a finger is not nearly as
scary to me as having an eye dug out. There's
a relevant scene in Once Upon a Time in Mexico that really disturbed me.
Of course U.S. government agencies don't "agree"..
Their underground strongholds in the Rocky Mountains will not be safe for Operation Save All of the Scientists, Artists, and Politicians. So, they're misinforming the public until they've completed the East Coast facility.
I switched to Linux as my primary desktop a few months ago (chose Fedora Core 2).
Recently, I was creating an OpenOffice.org document and needed a couple of diagrams.. After
searching through the menu for a few moments, I came across Dia.
Dia fits all of the listed requirements from what I can tell. Its interface and features are very similar to Visio IMO.. In addition, It loads much much faster than Visio.
I created two mini-network diagrams quite easily on my first use. I exported those to PNG (EPS is available in a couple of formats) and inserted/scaled them into my document.
I think that's technically "encoding."

The Lightning project is Thunderbird with calendaring built-in.

Notice the green dots? I guess Google's censoring some of their map data. Oh, and you can't zoom in very far either.
..or at least Newegg seems to think they already have them in stock
Are these not the processors you're looking for? Are they going to be argued as server-class?
It works for toll tags and the corporate RFID badges I've used.
Now you see me.
Now you dont!
I just happened across this commentary that claims "automatic copyright" isn't so automatic.
The new HP Pavilion notebooks have a hardware button to turn off the trackpad. There's a similar one to turn off the radio to the onboard wireless.
In some cases, cabling can be a beautiful thing.
A friend tried the CD on his Win2K box and it worked fine.
Other experiences with alternative OSes?

One of the members of that MIT blackjack team (Semyon Dukach) is now running BlackJackScience.com.

Tasha's sister was fake.
I had been linked to that website from the Slashdot story on FreeBSD Printing.

Overall, I was quite impressed.
You're not alone.
Thanks!
