But yes, you're right: the water cooling setup is an ugly implementation. They should've drilled holes in the top and ran the tubes through that instead and put elbows on it to bend it at a 90 degree angle to the box.
I call bullshit. The tracker itself can be privatized simply by doing authentication based on IP address (several bittorrent communities do this). Even if you get the torrent file that uses the tracker, it will deny you access.
I've never come across a toilet where I couldn't reach the flow knob easily.

If your toilet is ever in danger of overflowing and you're quick enough, turn the water supply to the toilet off. The reason it's overflowing is because water is still flowing to the toilet bowl but isn't being allowed to exit. Cut off the water supply (via the turn knob) and it won't overflow, then you can use a plunger at your leisure instead of frantically trying to catch it before it becomes a big mess. I can't tell you how many times this has saved me.
As with many of their products, Microsoft usually puts "Easter Eggs" in the programs, hidden gems that allow you to do unusual things with the program. So what if they made an easter egg with the extension? Let's say if saved a file in.docx format, then renamed it to.docxxx. You open the file and Clippy comes out wearing a teddy...
Ok, I'll stop right there and take my meds again, I promise.
I took your advice, Ieshan, and looked up Jerry Falwell:
In November 1983, Larry Flynt's sex magazine Hustler carried a parody of a Campari ad[4], featuring a fake interview with Falwell in which he admits that his "first time" was incest with his mother in an outhouse while drunk. Falwell sued for compensation, alleging invasion of privacy, libel, and intentional infliction of emotional distress. A jury rejected the invasion of privacy and libel claims, holding that the parody could not have reasonably been taken to describe true events, but ruled in favor of Falwell on the emotional distress claim. This was upheld on appeal. Flynt then appealed to the Supreme Court and won a unanimous decision on February 24, 1988 (Hustler Magazine, Inc. et al. v. Jerry Falwell, 485 U.S. 46); the ruling held that public figures cannot evade First Amendment protections by attempting to recover damages based on emotional distress suffered from parodies.
Neat post, but that last part will never happen. At least, not until Apple Records no longer holds the Apple trademark, which by the way is still involved in litigation with Apple.
A limited user windows XP account is not a full lockdown. There are many programs you can install without being logged in as administrator. Nearly all programs that are obtained in zip format, where you unzip and run them, work. Even regular programs will install, you just need to install to somewhere you have rw access to (My Documents/Programs is a good place). Unfortunately, some programs require changing system files or the registry, and they will not run. Some install programs also explicitedly require admin rights even though they don't need it, and won't let you install otherwise.
Does this sound like a fair comparision? To me it does. The main distinction between BSD and GPL was that with BSD, you don't have to release the source code, and with GPL you do.
At one time, what you say was true. But, with the 1.5.1 patch, several issues appeared ONLY on linux using wine or cedega:
You can't target anything. One of the workarounds for targeting NPCs, PCs, is to hit the 'v' key which will turn on a clickable bar. It is also not possible to loot corpses or treasure chests, unless you do some weird angling with the cancel (some have mentioned it's like there's a huge transparent square across the screen except on the very edge of it, which blocks clicks).
The truth of the matter is, it's not as easy as you think until you try it yourself (and believe me I've tried, I had it working fine before 1.5.1 patch). If Blizzard were to make a native client -- say, like Epic did with UT2003/2004 (used to play UT2004 on Linux some), Id did Doom 3 -- then these headaches would probably be almost non-existent.
While Cedega does run WoW, it doesn't run it very well; for example, there's a major issue going on right now where you can click on almost anything with your mouse. Even with a workaround (press 'v' in-game) there's still a problem looting corpses (and looting items like treasure chests). This problem has existed since 1.6 patch.
Still a bad analogy. If enough people get in through the back door, the place will eventually fill up, and you won't be able to sell anymore tickets (barring using spare vertical space to put people in).
You can't compare something like software (stored digitally, copied digitally) to the tangible world.
That case you mention is a Lian Li, I'd definitely like one of those - they're not cheap: http://www.lian-li.com/product.htm . The cheapest one on Newegg (and yes I know Newegg is not the end all be all of online stores) is $199: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82 E16811112051

Hrm... I thought this title was held for the Phantom Console and Nuke Dukem Forever?

but.. but... it worked for the Grinch!
I'm 5'9", I can see the problem where there is very little clearance between the toilet and the bathtub or another part of the bathroom.

It's funny that you should mention that Linux is not Unix, as I'd dare say that Linux = Linux is not Unix, or LinUx. :P
Sounds like a 'personal lubrication' brand...
Maybe he's using Sun's versioning method!

I have a laptop I'd like to sell your friend... P-p-p-powerbook!
SATA-I (or simply SATA) is 150MBps. SATA-II is double that at 300GBps. Wikipedia to the rescue!

That's the only in-game workarounds I know of (that I've found on the Gentoo forums). There are currently 2 known wine/cedega workarounds, but they don't work for everyone. See: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-246098-postd

Your reasoning/idea sounds awfully like the idea behind copyrighted material entering public domain.
In news today, IBM has captured one of the notorious spear phishers. Here is a picture of the dubious scum, the Spear Phisher.
Is it really that small? (yes, I know I'm repeating my last funny comment. Die)
