the acer one is cheaper and more powerful then eepc. the eepc fad is over you can pick them up on ebay for next to nothing by buddy got one for 100$. the acer one is just the better machine. so why try to keep a dead fad going. acer is the top player now. ause needs to relese a eepc at the acer price and have the same or better specks.
i mean it to you cant liston to the radio without ads ads ads music ads ads ads. now even more ads. but i agree if my cars gonna have ads i want the car for free. kinda like how nascar drivers get there rides and paychecks.
i still have my old small sets in my rooms used for gaming. only reason i got a new tv that is a hdtv was being i got a large set for my living room. would i toss mt old still used sets for buy 3 new tvs hell no. the only good that will come of this is if the fcc passes that free nation wide broadband using part of the spectrum . they are making mobile digital sets now and theirs even battery powered converter boxes for rvs and campers. or your mobile set that's still anlong. but they are still quite large i think once the coupons dry up we will see more advanced and cheaper boxes.
i rember them there content even worked on dailup. tvu now does the same thing. but these days networks steam there content directly. thers very few channels you cant watch legily over the internet. networks kinda relised they messed up without admitting it.and started streaming shows with ads on the internet themselves.
as a eve player i disagree. yes to fly large ships or mine tons of ore you needs skills. but even a small cheap frigate ship can be used in pvp. in fact there needed as large ships cant hit them well at all also large ships are expensive to lose. we call em tacklers they scramble the ship so it cant escape wile the large pilots take it down. not happy with that a good size fleet or frigs can get the jump on a large ship and win. large ships act like large ships there slow moving there big guns cant hit small fast moving things like frigates. in fact we had eves first titen kill without cap ships just a few weeks ago a large fleet of battleships used numbers vs power to kill the biggest baddest ship in eve. so you dont need elite skills to kill a elite in eve.
the skill system is alot better then grinding levels.
for one the price of cable tv is just gotten out of hand. when i herd they even tested bandwidth caps i dropped them as a isp and got dsl that has no limits. you just pay more for faster speeds i have the fastest they offer in my area witch btw is cheaper and faster then the cable offering and has less down time. as for viacom they cant just ban time warner ips people will eat them alive enjoy that lawsuit. they can remove the channels and online videos completely and theirs not much anyone can do abought that. i say let them. they will quickly fold when there bank accounts start shrinking. they pulled this crap with a satellite provider and unfortunately the provider folded. this is why there pulling it again.
its sad but true. killing off life in large numbers hasn't happend in some time. the less people and other life on earth the less resouses used. humans probably wouldn't die off completely but the numbers would have a sharp decline something needed across the world.
rember back before the 2k bubble burst. there was a tone of isps offering free service some with ads some without. back then dial up was usable as well. in fact thers only 2 isps i kone of that offer it without having a broadband offering as well. aol and netzero. i think even netzero is starting to offer dsl now to. now we live in the brodband era where no free offering are around. dialup is dead its abought as useful as not having internet. many new pcs don't even have dial modems anymore. so i for 1 think this is a good idea. it might not be nowhere near as fast as a paid service but tossing something free into the brodband mix will force prices down. kinda like how dialup got dirt cheap.
i have to agree new big 3 cars are junk. they build them to brake at 100,000 miles in hope you will buy a new one. the few cars that where built to last like the chevy caviler are no longer built. i had a 95 caviler rs that just always runs at 170k miles and having no problems ac still even works. but my friends new cars seem to always need maintenance. when my rs finnly does die it is my last gm car as well. im gonna buy a mazda mx-5. gm doesent make any small sports cars that don't cost alot.
not all truck or suvs get bad mpg. i have a old 1991 s-10 and it has a 4 cylinder and gets abought 24mpg when not hauling. the old geo trackers also where 4 cylinder. but the demand for larger trucks and suvs overtook them and now we have those 12mpg gas eating junk everyone buys.

they might stop making movies but dvd/vcr combo systems and blank media are still going strong. however settop dvd recorders are also getting very cheap to get. as for dvd vs blueray its just not going to happon dvd is going to be around for a long time.

its been proven linux notebooks sell. look at the eepc and acer one.
