    I may go for public health care if the government officials who run them are not corrupt, it is run efficiently, and no one abuses the system.

    But your OK with corrupt private companies abusing the system. I guess it's because they're so efficient at it.

    I can't, though I haven't tried very hard lately. The latest version of swsusp will suspend fine, but upon resume will reboot right after reading the RAM image.

    I have a year-old Sony VAIO.

    Seriously, I had a hard time finding a case without a window on it. No, I don't need a window; I know it's all in there.

    I find it very hard to believe that at least a few songs won't be delisted eventually, if for no other reason than Apple loses the rights to them. If there's no natural scarcity to a product, the industry makes sure there's an artificial one.

    This is the kind of statement that taints the integrity of the ope source community, and is a prime example of why few commercial companies support Linux.

    You misunderstand. What they mean is if you have a problem with these drivers, 'tain't the kernel's fault.

    While urine would perhaps make this path more conducive (I can't honestly say I've stood in pee and shocked myself), it's higly unlikely any urination would be forced in the first place.

    And, in fact, the dog is supposedly shocked before it pees. If a highly conductive metal spike driven into the dry ground isn't providing a good ground, then a dog standing on the same dry ground is an even worse ground, IME.

    Let's not even get into the fact that the metal chain is probably touching the ground, as well.

    If you use "Chip ID 0x4242" in your XF86Config, the server will think it's an 8500 and it will work, though I keep getting weird "static" on the display. Unfortunately, if you have a VIVO card, the capture does not seem to work at all.

    I also keep getting the same freezing display problem that I had with my Radeon VE (display freezes, either in X or on the console, but the computer itself keeps going). That may be a motherboard problem, though, as I didn't start to see it until after I upgraded the motherboard.

    My zip+4 does resolve to my apartment. There is another zip+4 that resolves to the apartment building as a whole.

    As for why they include the address, I assume it's because postal carriers don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of every single zip+4 on their route.
