I was under the impression that once you left the solar system, there was something like 1 hydrogen atom per square meter. How 'windy' could this be, even at, say, 1/2 the speed of light?
I have videos 1-17, but the server seems to be down lately and I get "connection refused" errors every time I try the bittorrent links. Does anyone have these files up on their server?
What's your point? I was copying that out of robots.txt. If I wanted to copy and paste information that wasn't in robots.txt, I would have removed/text.
Trakker can record a vehicle's movements and even excessive engine idling -- an indication a driver may be using fuel-guzzling air-conditioning without permission.
Yes the technology is out there - it's not currently tied together, though. This race will bring together all the technologies needed for a safe, autonomous vehicle.
I agree with wanting to drive for fun, though. I'll take a stickshift over an autonomous car any day.
But some of it ends up benefiting the masses as well - like that little thing called the 'internet' that you used to post that comment detracting DARPA, for one;)
This is really cool.. technology like this could be used in consumer cars to reduce rollover/tire spin/etc. Maybe even 'smart' cars that drive themselves, leaving the human passengers free to sleep or get work done.
It's actually nearly the same processor - they both use z80's. The gameboy, iirc, has a few different instructions that the 83 does not - "swap" being one of them. It is also missing some useful repeating/load instructions that the 83 has. The real advantage that the gameboy has is it's hardware acceleration.
Maybe he was talking about clippy. I bet clippy haunts old Bill's dreams at night.
Bill: "WHY oh WHY did I ask for an animated paperclip????" Clippy: "It looks like you're suffering from a nervous breakdown. Press F2 for synonyms of 'nervous breakdown'."
Thank you.
Same, except for northern Washington. Lemme know if you find any good resources.

If you have ~$3-5k for a plasma TV, I doubt you'll be worrying about electricity costs.
Disallow: /firstlady/recipes/text
Interesting. I'm sure there are plenty of jokes that can be made about this...
In any case, I wonder how much of whitehouse.gov is actually disallowed?
Impersonate a woman.
Sure, but would you if everyone else had one and kept cutting your green light off? Would you be tempted then?
Try the brochure, it has a few pictures. Bad ones, but pictures nonetheless.
And I'm sure a personal submarine will be completely undetectable by sonar/radar, of course.
...how the hell did he have the patience to step through "a couple trillion" lines of code in a worm???
Then I read the article. These worms, then - they're basically more complex versions of the Game of Life, right?
It's funny, though, since google links are IN THE ARTICLE.
Wow. That seems like a lot for some cold air.
it's A/C... how much gas can it use? It's a serious question, I'd like to know...
Are they seriously that concerned over gas there?
Much faster, and now much cheaper. Gotta love what moore's law does to the cost of computing :)

15, if you count the decimals.
And tape up the CD-ROM and Disk drives, of course.

Clunkiest 'bug' I've ever seen in office.
