Actually, a lot of research has gone into making those tanks as safe a possible.
In a crash: they will bend, not break.
How often does a car catch file after a crash? Only very rarely. If cartoons have taught me anything its that all accidents end in explosions.
But will it pass a crash test? or the general consumer preference test? This vehicle model will not be popular. Something like the Chevy Volt will catch more of the general population even if it does not meet the super fuel efficiency of the Aptera.
Yes, what really does your carpal tunnels in is all of that "one handed" keyboard use. The whole typing thing was just a cover up. Hmm... what's that strange pain in my wrist.
Yes and the reason you wear really thick glasses is not from staring at the monitor. You're just fortunate you haven't gone blind.
Only if that is what the article should say, and saying so is useful to someone looking up whatever topic it is you are looking up and finding the aforementioned gibblefinch storm. If, on the other hand, it is not useful or relevant, then not, it would tend to increase the error rate, or at lease lower the signal to noise ratio, rather greatly.
Perhaps then someone should setup a Kalman filter to decide if a combination of the various encyclopedias entries would be more accurate or if the entry from one of the individual sources is more accurate than the combination of them.
Ahh but I did send it back and they claimed the screen was cracked in half when they received it and that they were going to sue me for the cost of the tv. I had photos of it before it left my house though. I made sure that they weren't going to try to pull off something like this.
Here are some interesting pictures of the storefronts
I bought a tv from store 114 (DrPlasma, aka eStore of NY) They have multiple aliases. Biggest mistake of my life. They sent me a very expensive plasma tv by mistake and tried to strong arm me into paying for it. They also made an illegal charge to my credit card. Good thing my credit card was pretty full because it limited what they were able to steal when they maxed it out. I dealt with them for nearly 2 months until they finally gave up when they realized I wasn't going to just roll over on this one. Had I researched them out before I would never have bought anything from them. They have conflicting reviews though. Some say A++++++ some say scam artists. I wonder if they write their own reviews.
This is just plain dumb. Until one of the formats actually mainstreams no winner can be declared. It is ridiculous to declare Sony the winner when their product has yet to reach the consumer. There are articles stating that Blu-Ray will lose badly simply because the name. HD-DVD is pretty clear that it's a High Density DVD. Everyone knows what a DVD is. HD-DVD solely in name screams compatibility to the consumer. My prediction is that the war is far from over.
Personally I think they totally improved the crash mode. It used to be (Burnout 3) pretty static. The main goal was to hit the multipliers with some car wrecks. This task was pretty repetitive and very 2D.
Now the crash mode adds an element of initial speed plus the added fun of "Car Checking" (New feature of Burnout 4 to launch small vehicles by impact) Plus the new vertical elements such as cliffs, ramps, wind resistance. Also the added fun of having a crash breaker based on the level of explosion the vehicle can produce. Plus you can have multiple crash breakers if you get enough boost. You get more points by causing vehicles to explode... not just wreck. There is also the "target" car that you aim to destroy for bonus points. There is also some limited camera control where before you couldn't do anything about it.
I thought Burnout 3's crashing was okay... Burnout 4 made it sweet.
My life was saved by an experiemntal drug. The doctors couldn't get my heart restarted after my third open-heart surgery via defibrillation or other methods. The anaesthesist was one of the doctors evaluating a new medication that showed promise for restarting hearts and used it on me. As you can tell, it worked.
By any chance was this medicine from a company called the Umbrella Corporation?
You make a good point about the fact the information could have been used for purposes that I am unaware of. There is a level of trust that one must place when using any form of ID. The liquor store can scan your ID and then they scan your credit card. Who is to say they didn't store that credit card number and ID to sell to that crime syndicate. No way of knowing.
Possibly by having the national ID a flag might be raised in some computer if the ID is used in Arizona within 2 minutes of having the same ID scanned in New York. Just speculation.
Whether a national ID has a scanning feature or not does not reduce the fact that my current form of ID has this magnetic strip.
Sounds to me that paranoia is what drives this "REAL" guy. One of the points he makes is about the magnetic strip on the id making it easy to sell info to companies without authorization. I'm not a lawyer but that sounds illegal. That's beside the point. My driver's license already has a magnetic strip and I have had it scanned on a few occasions without consequence. This card makes it more difficult for illegal aliens and terrorists. Seems like a good idea to me.
Well Norton Antivirus does pick up a lot of spyware objects already. Of course that is not its primary purpose so it doesn't catch everything like other programs. Pest Patrol, Microsoft Antivirus, and Ad-Aware all do a decent job of catching the spyware but each one of them seems to find spyware objects that the other doesn't. It would be nice if there was a collaboration to have one program that catches everything.
It's worth mentioning that you can spend 99c / track at Napster too if you really like that model. So at Napster you have more choice. FWIW I think Napster is easier to use too.
Well sort of...
You are stuck with the wma format which is not as good as apples AAC format. No choice there. Don't bother mentioning the analog conversion from wma to mp3 because its a pretty bad conversion if you have a keen ear.
Apple's iTunes is more likely to survive the internet music business than Napster. Personally I found iTunes easier than Napster. Not that either is complicated.
The iPod vs other. iPod is the clear winner.
I bet if iTunes comes up with some more options such as get 50 songs per month for a flat rate... or something similar they will continue to dominate. Apple will continue to refine their business model and be innovative. This is a strong point of Apple.

Note: I didn't find a good entry in http://www.britannica.com/ on the Kalman Filter.
Why didn't you send the product back ? ?

He's not against stem cell research. He's against destroying embryos. Huge difference.
Your statement reminds me of a movie "Head of State" where there was a campaign ad from the opponent stating "Mays Gilliam for Cancer!"

Darth Sidious: Begin landing your troops. Wipe them out... all of them.
Sio Bibble: A communications disruption can only mean one thing...invasion!
Jar Jar: Weesa gonna die!?
That's what I was thinking. Me and my wife could each watch our own porn. Me, AssMasters 9. The wife, Food Channel.
Ahh your wife must watch The Naked Chef! Though its not quite what you think it might be.
...Mom not right now! I am writing a story to the NYTimes to get some really l337 girls to talk to me and my uber clan! ...

It keeps glowing and glowing...
