    with the insults aside the real reason lies in the fact that a lawnmower is not a laptop a laptop is made up of many extremely delicate components requiring strict tolerances in power output, a lawnmower is made up of brute force motors and rugged circuitry variations in power are not much a concern. so drop the greed/capitalism corporations sticking it to us nonsense and use the brains that God/Allah/ evolution or whomever gave you

    I am not sure of the range but you might be able to set up a packet radio at home and be able to pick it up at least part of the way course this would require a an outlay of cash as well as a shortwave license. My guess is it would be slow

    that got me thinking about the programing courses I took in college or at least the c++ course now that I think about it after the first month it basicaly became an exercise in recursive algorithm and oop. in my opinion objects in c++ should only be used when your certain you are going to reuse something not just to make main() fit on one page as we were wont to do, and recursion should never be used as generic loops when a nested if or a for loop will suffice. despite what my highly qualified instructor tried to lead us to believe but that same instructor also told us not to worry too much about memory constraints except for input values. to think that c++ is no longer offered at that college its now all about the c#

    actualy diode lasers can be tuned but only within a narrow waveband through heating and cooling and some can be engineered to produce several colors which can be seperated out using diffraction methods. but I do agree that it is probably just a few RGB colored laser diodes which are all currently available at a price anyway

    all these countries, including the U.S. that are having electronic voting issues are being used by less democratic nations to prove that democracy is bad. Slashdot is playing right into the hands of people like Kim Jong Il, and Hugo Chavez (yeah I know he was democraticaly elected but he has since legislated the country to the point he can't lose again". one thing that might help though it may be unpopular is a voter ID card if done right it could help alleviate the most blatent human issues, such as voter fraud. If not done right could become a source of discrimination. another issue that is getting out of hand is either party automatically screaming voter fraud every time a candidate loses a race, then sending in hordes of lawyers to try to prove their case. oh well what do I know.

    so its almost like when electrons become stimulated in a laser they all jump to pretty much identical states and act like a coherent population, or at least till one drops back causing all to follow suit, only in a B-E its that they give up energy to act as a "population" and its not just electrons doing this. At least that is how I am envisioning it, thanks for enlightening

    I always assumed probably wrongly that a B-E condensate was when groups of atoms dropped to an energy state that allowed them to act like one very large and coordinated atom.     the only mistake I have seen in the recent history is us not carpet bombing the middle east back to the hell that spawned it. instead we send good american boys over there to die and then, asceding to those pansy euro socialist who are all terrified of their own muslim extremist populations. at the same time they exuding nothing but nationalism in their contempt for everyone else who might rock the boat try to pin the blame on the Isrealis'. does that make my views easier to despise hate and ridicule as being militant nationalism.

    so what's wrong with being proud of being an American; read U.S. citizen you could be living in North Korea starving or being oppressed in an Islamic nation Like Iran or Libya where you have to be afraid of being of the wrong Religion, or heaven forbid Atheistic. or you could live in a central American country living in Fear of the Drug lords. I personaly am proud to be a U.S. citizen despite our past problems such as slavery, racism, oppression, none of which I will ever accept responsibility for since I did not instigate these nor will I ever feel the so called "White Guilt".and another thing how many nations can you live in that allows as many opportunities for self advancement for those who are motivated enough at least. if you don't feel something for america thats your concern but I myself don't understand it
