We can not "give ourselves hooves" with gene-therapy ! That's a childish-hollywoodish misunderstanding. With genetherapy we can alter our children ! (if wanted ?)
To change adult hands into wings (or other stupid idea) would require the same gene change in ALL THE CELLS of upper limbs !
Adult genetherapy may succeed when its concentrating eg. one organ, adding other kind of cells and changing a small proportion working of the organ.
Sorry, I may act stupid, but the heck is BB ? Definately it cannot be found in the SI-system !Is it a "common imperial measurement unit for roundish martian objects" ?
Maybe in a few years the virtual worlds are too complicated to be called a "game". Real economy, people have part time jobs and you can buy stuff in shops for both real world and the virtual world. We'll see...
Actually the launcher is himself the idiot if he shoots granades to buildings before finding out if theres any own forces ! In AA it is simple to use 20 seconds to write a message to the own team and ask if any body is "in the heliroom". Even faster is to press the quick key for message "Report your position" and wait mates to press the hot key to send messages such as "Reporting in Garage Door". I have never experienced "honor going down" as You say. It goes down when you kill friends. Compare the game to the reality.
You must be from Japan ? If the rover is the size of compact car, it is very compact ! Here are both the current rover and the previous one in the same picture: http://marsrovers.jpl.nasa.gov/gallery/s pacecraft/ tworovers_br.html One seat could barely fit.
Since most of the "answers" are handling not coffeine but tobacco, cocaine, acetone etc I desided to really answer the question.
You can avoid the head ache with smoothly decreasing the caffeine amount. For two first days mix your coffee with half water (50-50). Tastes awful but think it as medicine. For the next two days even more and so on. after a week you drink water.
It seems quite weird to me to stretch a second to make a day 24 hours. This will cause strange things, such as speed of light is a different value on Mars than on Earth though the speed is actually is equal of course.
At least it should NOT be called second/minute/hour etc !
The least inconvenient would to use the Greenwich time in all the Mars. This would require occasionally checking "at what time is the noon today?" but still that is the way of least trouble.

1000 "metric seconds" (microsols) = 1 "metric minute" (millisol)
100 millisols = 1 "metric hour" (decisol)
The use of the term "metric is not good even the divider is 10/100/1000.
To many the word "metric" translates as "normal" and "standardized". I propose that we will use the name "imperial hour" and "imperial minute" for that martian time.
Where but the UN can countries with tons of human rights violations be on and chair commities to end human rights violations?
Yes !
The chairman should never be from a country who hijacks hundreds of people from another country and keeps them as prisoners for two years (so far) in its military base without bringing a charge agaist them on even showing any evidence... (Hint: Guantanamo)
My point is that being accused of human right violations can not be a reason for excluding some country from collective organs.

The word "Humans" means of course American people, in a wider interpretetion also other English-speaking people.
DNS is supposed to be a way for humans (=American people) to communicate with computers about internet hosts. The intent is not for some human to be able to read it, but for all humans(=also other English speking people). This has worked until now because hostnames were limited to only ~37 characters. Regardless of native language(=English), any computer operator can quickly learn to handle the [a-z][0-9] gylphs. Basically anyone literate in one language(=English) can copy ASCII characters from a signpost onto a notepad, and then punch those into a keyboard. Even if her culture doesn't use the ASCII set in normal daily activities (which about everyone in America, Europe, and Japan does(=all the World !)), then the shapes are at least simple enough to copy geometrically.Even for their smaller brains..
You don't get it, do you ?
Chinese people really dont use English alphabets !
Or Thai, Greek, Korean, Arabic, Vietnamese, Hebrew. You do remember that in China there are more internet users than in USA. Even in the "Western Europe" only part of the alphabet is same. We constantly have point out that the letter "A with two dots" is in this case replaced with an "A" and not with "AE" as Germans often do.
How would you like to make a compromise, let's use only the common letters ?! Between original English, German, French, Swedish and Finnish the common letters would be: A,D,E,G,H,I,J,K,L,M,N,O,P,R,S,T,U,V,Y

I'd like to see more political issues handled in Slashdot too, but I guess the "people running the site" are afraid of starting flame wars that could risk even the Slashdot itself.
BTW Don't blame all the country for the deeds of the government/president.
Apparently, the simple act of selecting the message activates the code.
Apparently that feature is in the Outlook and IE combination only, based on their bugs.
We Mozilla users wonder why anyone uses those anymore.

And now we'll move NY to Rocky Mountains ?
When placing a city (town) there are many a lot faster affecting reasons for the optimal position than the climate. And old cities wont be moved.
Didn't I tell you. MS is going for Open Source !
And other countries and cultures in general. Here's the "World according to America": Map

Yes they both a pronounced in the same way.
The first letter is between an L pronounced like an R and an R pronounced like an L.

is this the American today ?

I have actually done that once. It works.
There's a mistake in the heading.
It should read:
"Wind Turbines Kill Few Birds"

At least it sound _light_ not heavy.

Well, how could FCC tax ONLY the VoIP, technically ? They needed to tax all the TCP.
Since most of he world has taxfree internet, it would be most surpricing to see taxes on TCP in the States.

Try it once !
I've tried guite many updating tools. I think apt-get is among the very best. The GPG-key checking should be automatic though.

I haven't ever had security problems with Linux. With some other OS'es several times.
You maybe right but still wildly off topic.
