    No no no, the next version would be XP Revolutions. Of course, on par with Slashdot here mind you, XP Revolutions would use a grub loader, let you choose the mount point, use new winextfs, and let you choose between winome or kdew32 window managers.

    They are user-serviceable, but I am fairly sure that it voids your warranty, which is crap. Don't get me wrong, I love Apple, and I'm not all that sure about the warranty thing :P For reference:

    I think the more important question is can it run StarCraft? :-) This looks like just another over-sized PDA to me. Right now, it is faster than current PDAs, but, right now, it is also vaporware. By the time it comes out, 1 Ghz will be the minimum.

    Our density has led us to video phones. (haha)

    The evolution from phones you have to crank to videophones that make it seem like the other person is right with you is just a natural process for the technology to take.
    However, the old system will most likely always have to be supported, because there are far too many automated/integrated/etcerated systems implemented right now that rely on analog phone signals.
    Anywho, cool stuff :-)

    That's really not insightful. All this means is that, as of now, only Windows computers can *check* the validity of the picture in question. The computer you use has nothing to do with the pictures your camera takes.

    Maybe not so short-lived. The HP iPod will be compatible with iTunesMS. I think this could be an excellent thing for both parties, assuming Apple has limited how low HP's price can go.

    Originally it stood for internet, as it originated on the iMac. The iMac was supposed to be the easiest computer to get online with at it's time of release (and it was). Not all of the applications it's applied to make sense, though. iMovie? iTunes? (Makes sense with the iTMS now, though) iPhoto? (Well, that does have web features..). Anyway, it seems to me that it stands for I now. Or me.

    No, he is carefully choosing his words. He did so a few times in the interview. You see, he has to play nice with the RIAA because they control his access to music right now. What he really said in the interview is that soon that will not be the case.
