I have exactly 1 device that can play Blu-Ray, not counting the BD drive in my primary PC. Most people I know, doesn't have a standalone BD player, they use their PS3 if they have one.
Actually, I don't think I know a single person who has more than 1 device capable of playing BD.
If it got the laser for it, which I kind of assume it has, then why not pay the license fee and enable it to play BD and DVD media. It certainly makes it more attractive for consumers in my opinion.
I know at least a handful of people who'll buy the Wii U and would greatly benefit from BD/DVD support.
I don't per se care about such a feature, but it all depends on the impact it has on non-paying members. If paying members get benefits over non-paying members (in game), it's a huge no go for me.
I'm not talking about skins or whatever, but better weapons or utilities.
According to the summery, it seems like it's mostly social features and perhaps early access to DLC and addon stuff. Fine by me then.
I'm on this boat as well. I see my roommate and several of my steam friends play Portal 2, but I can't log into PSN with my PS3 version to unlock my PC version.
I'm somewhat surprised that Valve didn't do something about this by now or at least made an official statement, the forum is running rather hot.
Android itself is relativity open, however, the vendors (Motorola, HTC, SE, etc) can lock it down if they want. Only 2 phones use Android in it's base form, everyone else use vendor modified versions.
I hear so many people do exactly what they show in XKCD. They bitch and moan about how it's "not really playing an instrument".
Well, playing GT5 isn't really "driving a car", but it's still fun and entertaining.
I still break out my plastic guitar now and then, to look like a retard while trying to play Through the Fire and Flames, by Dragonforce. I usually end up smashing something, but it's fun none the less.
Isn't that the idea?
So the person in question, just doesn't take it off in confusion or whatever.

Quite sure he is using some sort of password software, that manages his passwords for him.
Doubt he has to type it all the time.
I find that hard to believe.
Most games I play online, is FULL of pre-pubescent whinny tards.
Or maybe it's averagely 37 yards old, just acting like they're 12?
Since the article is about their upcoming hand-held device, how is that relevant?
They previously said it's a stand-alone game, so expect full game price for it.
Blizzard is part of Activision, so what'd ya expect? Greedy bastards.
I must have missed that official statement. Link?
If they get maps non-Elite players can't get, it's a major no-go indeed.
No where in the article does it say you have to have a subscription to play the game.
It's seems to be extra features.
Like PSN Plus.
PSN is free and you can play online for free, but you can get PSN Plus and get some extra stuff.
Nowhere does it say it's Pay to Play.

Not even the same thing.
There is a super injunction in the case you're mentioning.
Hacked drivers solves that problem.
Which they kind of did.
You need to log in to PSN to link your PSN account to your Steam account.
After it's linked, I'm not sure if it still needs PSN though, since I can't link it to see.

Assassinating templars was fun, but besides that, no, it didn't.
The sequel(s), however, was fun.
Steam is acceptable DRM, therein lies the difference.

I''d like to see all community sites do that.
I got an addon that tries to force SSL where available, and it's surprising so many sites that doesn't have SSL enabled at all.
Most games I have on my PSN, is actually $15 or less, so I call bullshit on his "statement".
I don't think he thoroughly did his research.
Then it's not your choice.
Your choices aren't truly random though.
It's been argued many times, that people make choices in patterns.
Like /.
I have to click login, then login without credentials, to be taken to the "wrong password" page, where it DOES work.
I'd suggest you try something new.
Try googling "Frets on Fire".
It's anopen source "Guitar Hero" variant for PC, with an unlimited music library.
Make your own if you aren't satisfied.
I actually think it pre dates Guitar Hero, but I am not sure on that, so don't hold that against me.
+1
