We've used Geotrust since the beginning and have never had a problem. They are a bit more expensive than others, but we'll take the hit there for the good support.
There was one year where we wanted to try the EV-SSL. We decided to go cheap and went with Comodo. Big mistake. It didn't work, and after dealing 2 weeks with the support people there, we gave up and went back to Geotrust. They would only talk to us via email and were generally very unhelpful. I'm not saying that is what everyone experiences, I'm simply stating our own.
The original ending is the zombies win. No producer in Hollywood will ever shoot an ending like that. Actually the first adaptation of I Am Legend, "Last man on Earth" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058700/), had that very ending.
That explains a lot actually. I read an article that claimed most men would rather marry Pam Beesly from The Office over Angelina Jolie. Perhaps they were on to something.
I agree 100% actually. That was one of the cool things about the series in the beginning, that consequences had to be dealt with.
I think you're missing just one piece though, the incredibly painful love rectangle between Lee, Starbuck, Anders and Dualla. Was I the only one who wasn't interested at all in that mangled sub-plot?? It just kept going and going... I eventually stopped watching because of it.
That is very true. I use Ubuntu and OpenSUSE for pretty much everything, until I wish to play a round of Team Fortress 2 or Portal. For that I boot into XP. I tried running Steam on Linux, and ran into headache after headache. I jumped through so many hoops with Wine (a couple hours worth), finally got Steam installed, only to have it crash the first 2 seconds into Half Life. I gave up after that and just booted into Windows. If games worked on Linux, I would have no reason for Windows, but until then....
Well this explains my entire morning commute right here. The same people making the same mistakes every week. At long last we have a scientific explanation.
"For children growing up today the issue is not whether they will get a mobile phone, it's a question of when"
Not in my house! If my kids want cell phones, they will have to pay for it themselves, after passing a stringent exam and physical fitness test. And even after that I will probably say no.
I agree with you for the most part. There was only one instance where I guarded my saved game and that was for Morrowind. I was rather late in coming to that game, so when I had started, the two expansions had already been released. So once I completed the main game, I guarded my saved game so that I could use the same character in the later expansions (which I would purchase at a later date). Other than that, once the game is beaten I generally remove them along with the game.
I purchased the Orange Box primarily for Episode 2 of Half Life. After all, that was the main event. However it was Portal that impressed me the most. It wasn't just the original concept of game play, nor even the intriguing (and somewhat creepy) story. That game was just plain different. The puzzles were all quite challenging, but never annoying or frustrating, and the story unfolded in such a manner where you just had to continue to find out more.
No one watching you in all the observation rooms? That's odd. The cake is a lie?? What does that mean? What is up with this computer? In the beginning you think there is no story, it's just a collection of physics puzzles showing off the portal trick. Imagine the surprise when you find out the story is really quite engaging (and again, somewhat creepy).
Portal is short, but it was by far the most enjoyable part of the Orange Box. I really hope they continue this series somehow.... now off for some cake;)
Why not Marilyn Monroe, Veronica Lake or Betty Grable? Honestly, when I'm wounded and dying, I think being in their arms would be far more soothing than Smokey the Bear....Is that wrong?
Just use the User Agent Switcher extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/59 ) and have Firefox pretend it is IE. Nine times out of 10 the site will work just fine.

Taylor:"Do you have any weapons, any guns?"
Cornelius:"The best, but we won't need them."
Taylor:"I'm glad to hear it. I want one anyway."

Inigo Montoya: You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means

I think a Swedish Chef game would be more interesting. Certainly more action packed.
What about the ever popular Particracy political simulation?
I think I saw that movie...
It could happen.

You obviously haven't completed the Gnome achievement. That should add a few weeks of gameplay. ;)

I'm with you on hoping that they are, but remember Lisa Nowak.
Scully: "So now we're chasing ghosts?"
Mulder: "Who you gonna call?"

After a post like that, I'm sure you'll have no shortage of friends.
Makes perfect sense. He couldn't get Google so he's taking it out on us, his poor customers.

He just shutdown a tv station because they didn't wholly support him, but he'll be ok with YouTube doing the same thing? ... yeah I'm thinking not.
From the title of this article, I thought I was finally going to be free of my v.92 modem. Curse you /. for raising my hopes!!
I agree 100%!
