Opera has issues displaying/.? I thought it was Firefox that didn't render it correctly, at least up until the latest version. I've been using Opera for quite a while now, and never noticed anything wrong when browsing this site. Both the old pure html and now css versions display just fine.
Yeah, FEAR wasn't scary at all, just like Doom 3. Unlike Doom 3, however, I found it to be a very fun game. I think the key to enjoying this game is to play it as a fast-paced action like Quake, instead of the slow tactical shooter it pretends to be. Sure you'll get hit more, but the action becomes much more fun with all the sparks, dust, blood, and body parts flying all around with you in the middle of it, and not ducking somewhere in the corner behind a crate.
Only being able to carry 3 weapons at once sucks, but it's not that bad IMO. At first I carried around the pistols, a shotgun, and an assault rifle. Then swapped the pistols for the penetrator and later the particle gun. Rocket launcher had to replace the shotgun, but I usually picked another one after using up all the rockets. Same for the grenade launcher. There was never enough ammo for the AR rifle, unfortunately, so I picked it up only a few times to take out distant enemies.
The only negative thing I can say about the game is that it gets a little repetitive by the middle of the game, where it looks like you're going through the same offices over and over again. But then, Halo got even more obviously repetitive in some places, and it didn't prevent it from being a good game.
I remeber reading even shorter summaries, they were mostly just a few sentences or lines. Somehow the only one I memorized is from Titanic, it went something like

I agree - with one addition: I had nothing but good experience with FreeBSD (the 5.x line) on the laptop;)
Seriously, I installed FreeBSD on my laptop to dual-boot with Windows and didn't have any serious problems. Had to go through some trouble to get the onboard sound working, but that mainly consisted of following a forum post. The newest games I can reasonably play under windows is quake so I'm not missing anything when I'm in the FreeBSD in that sense. I still use mainly Windows, but sometimes FreeBSD gets some action, usually to let me have some fun with it or to impress the chicks:P
OK.... Apple is good, Intel is bad, so Blu-Ray is better than HD-DVD. But... Blu-Ray is a standard developed and backed mainly by Sony, and Sony is bad. HD-DVD on the other hand is also backed by Microsoft, and as we all know M$ is bad. Now this leaves us where we started without answering anything, but this doesn't seem to be a big problem for/. comments anyway, so I'll leave it here.
No, neither have I. My point was that since there's no contract preventing you from playing the cd on a mac, it is legal to do so. It doesn't make it a right though. What if nobody bothered to write a cd player program for your OS, would the record companies (or the taxpayers) be obliged to provide you with a free one, in the same fashion attorneys are appointed for free if you can't afford one?
You buy the disc, so you having the disc is a privilege. You can do anything (except copying for profit) you want with the disc, unless there is a contract preventing you from doing something. If it says "you are not allowed to play it on a Mac" well then you're not allowed to play it on a Mac. Retarded, I know, but if you don't like that, don't buy the disc. If there's a technical "feature" preventing you from playing it on a mac, and not a contract, you can break it and not get into any trouble... unless of course there's such an excellent piece of legislation as DMCA in your country. Anyway, there are no "rights" involved here at all.
A friend of mine asked me to help chose components for his next PC, and, not paying attention to the prices, we (actually, 'I' would be more appropriate) decided on a single 7800GTX and X2-4800+ instead of two cards in SLI and FX-57. Although the possibility of adding a second gfx card still remains, we decided to only buy one card. It would always be possible to buy a second one, or throw the current one out and buy next gen card which would grind two of these into dust anyway.
Now, FX-57 usually beats the X2-4800+ in games, but by a rather small margin: 5-6fps was the most significant difference. What makes the difference is adding a background task, like file compression or Skype or whatever. FX-57 drops almost in half (if the task is significant), while the X2 only slows down by 3-5fps. Hopefully game developers will take advantage of all the additional cores and the X2 would be even better in the future.
The whole system cost about $2500, including a quality case and PSU, two 250gb drives and all the other stuff necessary.
>What are these girls? Are they multi-platform yet?
No, but they are multiplayer-capable, up to three (3) players are supported. More is possible but not recommended.

To answer your second question... yes, you'd probably have to use black ink, as just mentioning white gets you labeled as a racist nowadays.

Yeah, intruders should also realize how much POWER it takes to break into a properly secured ALPHA sector.
You can start off the class by telling a joke, like this one:

They want you to spend as much as possible? If you use their phone with another carrier, they get the monthly fee but nothing extra.
