The staff are in some cases pumping their ratings, I know that one of my wife's collegues has had her husband pretend to be a student(s) and leave some positive comment(s) on there. I am aware of course that this could be the only occurance of this but this site spans multiple nations so this would be unlikely to be an isolated example.

Although I don't disagree with that, wouldn't it be better for them to send fully working ones out? This should (hopefully) ensure that those who've had their console replaced wouldn't have to get it replaced again (and again, and again?) and cause all the negative comment about it on teh intraweb.

I agree entirely. I love throwing people into traffic for some reason. Also game world seems pretty large from the map (haven't played past first couple of missions yet though). The weapon selction seems better than remembering what number key was assigned to which weapon and also easier to do as fingers are on the buttons (was PC gamer until having kids stopped upgrade cycle budget) Also must add to nearly everyone else's comments, my entire family have come round, made a Mii and love it. My mum even beat me at boxing! (once)

Wouldn't this end up after a few years with ratings of 1000 and so forth. I know this is a little pedantic as no one would be using stuff with the original ratings and expecting the new stuff to run but still it makes an untidy system if there are no top ends to the levels.

But what happens when a new generation of graphics cards / CPUs / etc are released, would your level 3 CPU become level 2 overnight? What impact would this have on the packaging? An old game rated at CPU level 3 would be the same as a new game with CPU level 3 after the levels get adjusted for new hardware being released unless the older game was issued with new packaging to reflect the change. Whta they could do is have game shops have all the games for certain levels on the same shelves but this would get tedious for the staff who would be contsantly re-arranging their stock. This is why the old ratings system failed in the early days of CD-ROMs failed, there was an MPC rating which scored on whether you had a CD-ROM, soundcard, etc.

Private schools aren't much better as all the kids mess around and think that there's no comeback from it as their parents will buy them out of trouble at the end of it.

While being IT support in a private school in central London I once heard a teacher rattle out the old chestnut of "if you mess about now you'll pay for it later" and the student replied that it didn't matter as they were going to work for their dad's company when they left school any way.

Also this place had serious disipline issues as the kids would spit on the floors and steal stuff from under the staff's noses. I once went to look into why a PC in the computer suite wouldn't boot and found inside the case was just the motherboard, PSU and FDD, all the rest had been stripped out!
