  1. The Answer is Clear on A Comparison of Solaris, Linux, and FreeBSD Kernel · · Score: -1, Troll

Since Solaris has DTrace (and FreeBSD will have it soon as well), wouldn't they automatically be better than the Linux kernel? With the design of the Linux kernel (macrokernel instead of microkernel) it would seem to me that porting something like DTrace to Linux would be impossible. Without features like this, I don't see how Linux could compare in the enterprise.

  2. This Could Be Problematic on Lloyds TSB Pushing New Online Security Protocol · · Score: -1, Offtopic

This could be a difficult thing for Linux users, as all protocols must have a kernel module in the current kernel (including things like BitTorrent and OSCAR, the protocol for AIM). If this goes through and no module is written, Linux will surely be crippled.

You retards think that because some no-name company has adopted Linux for its tills that the entire world is ditching their collective Windows boxes tomorrow.

Don't you think that you idiots are being a tad hypocritical? By this, I am alluding to, of course, your constant assertion that because you run Linux that you're being hurt by Microsoft. "OH NOES, DELL ONLY SHIPS CONSUMER MACHINES WITH WINDOZE LOL!" you whine. You want every manufacturer to abandon Windows and cater only to the Linux crowd.

This is about the point where we get to you fucks being hypocritcal assholes. It's okay for someone to ignore Windows because you don't like it. It's even alright for you fuckers to rip on Windows users because you hate Billy G. But if someone does the same thing to you, you flip out, have heart attacks, and post stupid stories (like this one) to Slushgut everytime another $0.25/share company adopts Linux for their IT strategy. HOORAY! Another $24.99 machine liberated from the clutches of Redmond.

Freedom is a universal thing. The Linux crowd and the RMS blowjobbers don't understand this; they fail to see that if you want the freedom to run whatever operating system you want that you can't really say that others can't run whatever operating system they want. If you fags have the "freedom" to read 1,283,238,199,128 lines of C code every day because you "want to learn" (which is code for not having a girlfriend or a life), be my guest. If you want freedom, good for you - it's a great thing. Freedom's a two-way street, though; it's a lot more than "freedom to run Linux" or "freedom to run Windows." It's "Freedom to do with my machine as I please." Just do us all a favor - stop being such hypocritical assholes about it.

  15. Re:MDF MDF MDF on Why Apple Picked Intel Over AMD · · Score: -1

You know, I've built several machines over the years - probably 10 or 12 AMD-based machines. Last year I built two identical Pentium 4-based machines and I can say that the hardware is of better quality.

Take for example the Asus A7N8X board I built into an Athlon XP machine a few years back. This machine experienced driver problems galore; stability and heat issues as well (before you start saying I don't know what I'm doing, I've been building systems for probably ten years now at least, so don't go there, k?). I eventually got the machine stable through various combinations of drivers.

Now, fast forward to last year. I build two boxes with Abit IS7-E2 boards and 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 HTs. Flick the switches and they just work. I have uptimes in Windows XP of several weeks or more (rebooting only for the monthly security patches) on these compared to uptimes of maybe a few days on the Athlons (not just the Asus board). Hell, they even run cooler; 112 F under load on the P4 compared to 150 F under load on the Athlon (yes, I used a heat sink and all that jazz).

Now, can you explain to me again about how AMD is better than Intel? Sounds to me like the opposite is true.

After all, we would much rather refer to a site as 66.35.250.150 instead of slashdot.org, right? Do you think Ubuntu should stop calling their releases "Hoary" or "Warty" and stick with "4.10" and "5.04"? The point is that naming schemes are generally for the benefit of those who utilize them. This includes Windows.

I have to admit, though, that the best part of your post is that you misspelled "illiterate," thus proving that you are, in fact, a member of the illiterate masses.

  23. Roll Humping on Recent Solar Flare Could Disrupt Communications · · Score: -1

So, I was banging Kathleen Fent last night and we decided to try something a little different. We decided to play "Hump the Roll."

It's very easy, really. You start by finding a fat bitch. This was easy with me, since as everyone knows, Kathleen is a fat bitch.

Next, you take her clothes off. If you have a sensitive stomach, you might want a barf bag for this part, as there is probably a lot of flesh that you won't want to see. Kathleen has many many square yards of flesh, stretching over her big fat body. I took her clothes off but I dry heaved a little. If I would have ate before doing this (as I'm sure she did) it could have been very messy.

Next, you find a roll. This isn't too difficult, if you picked out a fat bitch (and you did, since that was part of the directions). I picked one on her stomach, right where the skin creases from her navel (at least, I think that's her navel, as with fat bitches, the only way to tell is to roll them in flour and see if the spot is wet; if it's not, it's her navel).

This step is optional. If you would like, you can spread your favorite lube in the roll. This is mostly for the comfort of your partner. I didn't do this, as I don't really give a shit if she enjoys it.

Now, begin like it's your regular hump and grind that mother like there's no tomorrow. I did, and a few times I slid too far down and almost poked a hole in her gut. Oh well. I blew it all over her and had a nice child mix pool going on in her navel.

Lastly, if you're like me, put your clothes back on (I only pulled it out of my fly to do her) and leave. Let her clean the mess up, I say.

Enjoy this new sport! Let me know how it works out for you, and perhaps we can refine this new sexual move.
