I got burned by them a while back. Ordered a computer as my 15th birthday present, and received the monitor about 3 months later. Didn't get that computer until I was nearly 17. Yeah I think the one that will raise the level cap and change the ending is Broken Steel which is the one after The Pitt. Supposed to come out the end of this month or sometime next month. Personally I'm starting to suspect that they made the ending like that just to make you buy the expansions. I'm holding out for the gold version whenever it comes out.
The only way that could happen is to wipe out all life on earth. Not just humans. All life. So long as life exists there will always be something to kill or die for. There will always be competition. There will always be cooperation. There will always be hate. There will always be love. There will always be someone just wanting it all to stop. A peaceful life is an oxymoron. The only thing that can truly be peaceful is death.
We are suggesting that maybe at sea isn't the best place to replace the plank on the underside of the ship that has a hole in it. Instead we should wait till we have the proper facilities to take care of it.
It really is the best comparison. ClickOnce seems to be a new ActiveX like software MS is pushing. While the paranoia running rampant in this thread is overblown. This could be a new security threat we will need to keep an eye on in the future. Though not likely more than things like flash, java, and silverlight which all allow executable code to run on our computers.
This is a PLUGIN. Not an ADDON. Addons have uninstall buttons. Plugins do not. Uninstall.NET 3.5 of which this is a part, or follow my instructions in this post to disable it.
Here is a question for you. After you install a pdf reader do you become upset that it installs a plugin in firefox so it can view PDF files? That is all this thing is.
Look in your firefox options. Click the application tab. Click on the label at the top of the actions list. Look for the "Use Windows Presentation Foundation" entries. There are two of them. Change them to whatever you want.
I have personally seen a cat get caught in the same trap nearly 12 times. We were trying to catch a stray that hung out in our yard, but one of our cats would go into the cage, eat the bait food, and then whine piteously until someone would let him out. Why he wouldn't just come inside to eat the exact same food was beyond me.
Yeah I now actually have to look to find ads on pages now days. Any ad that does catch my attention generally only does so by being super annoying with the flashing colors and vibrating messageboxes or the goddamn Intellitxt ones. (I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.) When that happens I immediately adblock the entire domain that provided that ad. I don't do that very often though.
Just add a new feature to the unobtainium that is used to make the space elevator cable. Its not like a space elevator is actually practical in the first place.
Yeah they looked awful. LEDs produce too much light in the more violet spectrums. Making each of them look like they are surrounded by a purple/black aura to me. The old style lights are a lot warmer and more inviting.

They did tell you they were doing it. You just didn't read it. You could always uninstall .NET 3.5 which would remove it.

Judging from the article review quality I would say they were replaced by very large VB/BF hybrid scripts running on windows ME.
